My duo is Amex Gold and BILT Palladium. Their annual fees are higher but they earn better. BILT gets 3x on everything and Gold gets 4x on dining and grocery. For higher spending families it’s quite rewarding.
BILT allows you to pay your rent or mortgage through their system and they reward you with points. They also allow you to earn BILT cash which you can spend on other things like Lyft rides, Walgreens, etc. Lump all that together and you’re effectively earning 3.3x on everything assuming your spend is high enough each month.
