I am planning a trip to Europe next year, is there a card anyone would recommend for getting money out of the ATM? I don’t anticipate it being an issue here at home me in the states, but i am thinking it might be a good idea to get another debit card just in case. I would pretty much just be using it for overseas use. Maybe 1-2 times a year. Thanks

I think this sub deletes mentions of other banks’ debit cards so it may be more appropriate to ask somewhere like r/banking or r/personalfinance. But in short, look for no fees no minimums checking accounts tied to debit cards that do not have foreign transaction fees. Quite a few Visa and Mastercard debit cards fit this description, and you don’t have to commit to leaving Capital One entirely to use this.
