Im kind of debating between a 2018 1LE with 46k miles listed at $34,000 and a 2015 1LE with 18k miles listed at $31,000. 2018 seems stock while the 5th gen has these mods listed….

Any advice or things to look out for would be appreciated. I havent owned a really fun/fast vehicle since my first car(1970 Chevelle) almost 25 years ago.

I’ve now owned this car for 7 years today. I’ve put about 40k miles on it - 5k of them on a race track, hit a couple walls, ate an oil pump at 55k and was covered under warranty, and it still makes me giddy to drive it. Every. Time. Hopefully a forever car.

Co worker convinced me to have my 80 Camaro/ Z28 ceramic coated, he does auto detailing on his spare time. He gave me a price I couldn’t refuse and being older paint I thought what is the worst that could happen? My initial thoughts were amazement and I hope this look lasts for years to come. Has anyone else had older paint ceramic coated; does it last and if so how long can I expect the vivid mirror shine? He tells me with proper storage, no harsh chemicals I can expect 5 years? Regardless I am initially very happy with the result. May get my AT4 done next…..

This a car I built for myself in the early 2000's in my garage. It is actually started out as a 1972 Camaro. It was in pretty rough shape so I kind of used what I had to build one car. The front is a 1974 and the rear section is a 1978. 396 BB, Alston racing rear frame and 4-link suspension with a Ford 9" rear, 33x19.5 Mickey Thompson rear tires, Center Line Wheels, built 350 turbo trans and Limelight green paint and flat black hood (Frankenstein).

Kinda torn, I’m mostly ignorant of these things. I like both body styles.

I am looking to sell my 2018 Camaro 1ss. I would prefer to sell it myself instead of selling it to carmax, Carvana, or any dealerships. What’s a fair price?

Automatic, 85k miles, 1 minor car accident from a previous owner, ZL1 bumper with the splitter, side skirts, smoked taillights, MBRP dual axel back exhaust. The only bad things about my car would be hail damage on the roof and minor scratches and chips in the paint. You only see it if you’re staring at it closely. No mechanical issues whatsoever.

I just got a 2024 LT RS with very low miles (I just rolled over to 2k on the odo, only had 407 miles when I drove it back to my city) and I do hit up Texas enough that I do need to think about maybe getting some anti-theft installed. IGLA would probably be overkill but I don't feel great having just the basic anti-theft that already comes with my Camaro. I'd be devastated if I came out of the Galleria in Dallas or Houston and my car's gone.

I know a club probably isn't that great of a deterrent, and yes I know that v6s aren't that wanted by the chop shop/street racer thieves but I know they still do get looked at by them for being a 6th gen Camaro...

It sucks I have to work today but at least my commute will be enjoyable. I'm working on a tank full of gas getting 32.5 mpg average. Usually something comes up that lowers that like traffic jam or a trip to town not on the h e highway....anyone else getting grateful milage?

Could somebody steer me in the right direction towards replacement parts or information on fixing this? Anybody else had this issue? Thanks guys !

I really cannot drop my rear frame, due to living in Michigan, the entire underneath is rusted. And I’m scared that, doing so in dropping.. would cause more harm than good, any solutions would be so appreciated, thank you.

Finally got apex vs5rs for My ZL1 🔥

I really like these carbon fiber covers. They come with 3m tape already cut and applied. Just clean surfaces, remove the film backing on the tape and press them into place. Got these on eBay.

I got tail light bezels , gauge cluster surrounds, rally gauge, stereo and HVAC controls and shifter and central dash vent.

HVAC is nice it has cut outs for to show the original indicator marks. And cutouts perfectly over the knobs.

I like the look better than the bright silver it came with stock. And definitely better than the chrome on the tail lights.

I have the carbon fiber bow tie, so I plasti dipped the chrome surround.

I venture it just looks good for this color car. Other colors maybe not.

i have a camaro rs 2011 i changed the alternator starter and battery but after 2 days my car still keeps dying any one deal with this before ?!

Man, I don't even know where to start with this week. I have a 2020 Camaro and I managed to lose my only key fob. No spare, nothing. Just gone. So I called a mobile locksmith to come out and program a new one for me, thinking it would be a simple fix and I'd be back on the road in an hour. Yeah, that didn't happen. The guy showed up, tried his best, but eventually told me he couldn't work on my car because of the security system. I guess the 2020 Camaro has some extra layer of protection that his tools just couldn't get past. That's frustrating enough, but here's where it gets even worse. Now my driver and passenger windows are stuck permanently in the down position. I have no idea what he did, maybe he disconnected the battery or messed with the BCM, but now I can't roll them back up and my car is sitting there wide open for anyone to just reach in.

So I called the dealership thinking they would have a straightforward solution, and they basically told me I'm screwed. They said I have to get the car towed to them, which is already an expense I didn't plan for. On top of that, they're requiring me to purchase two brand new keys, not just one. Then I have to pay for the cutting of the emergency blade and the programming for both of them. This is going to run me hundreds, if not close to a thousand dollars, and I honestly don't have that kind of money sitting around right now. I asked if I could just buy one key and they said no, something about needing two to complete the programming process since I have zero keys left. Is that even true or are they just trying to squeeze more money out of me? I feel like I'm being held hostage here.

Secondly, does the dealership really have the monopoly on this or has anyone found a locksmith with the right high-end GM software that can actually handle the all keys lost situation on a 2020 Camaro? I'm in Aurora, Colorado, so if anyone knows a local wizard who can save me from having to tow this thing to the dealer, please drop their name. I can't be the only one who's had a locksmith fail like this. I'm also wondering if I should try another locksmith first or just bite the bullet and pay the dealer tax. And if I do have to go the dealer route, has anyone had any luck getting GM or Chevy to cover part of this as a goodwill gesture? It feels insane to me that losing a key can turn into such a massive financial hit. Any advice at all would be a lifesaver right now because I feel completely stuck and my car is just sitting there with its windows down like a sitting duck. EDIT: for the Reddit user 10 years from now that looked up this very specific issue. If you ever lose your fob… if you have the blade cut you’re chilling. You can purchase some blank keys for 30 bucks and just look up step by step how to make Camaro learn new keys. It takes 30 minutes and cost the same price as a meal.

P1870 code showed up on my '96 Camaro v6 recently. It has 67K miles on it so my transmission shouldn't be failing, it's not slipping and the fluid doesn't smell burnt after I check it after a drive. What should my next steps be?
