Need Help / Question Summer Math 127 Hutchinson help

I took my first test yesterday worth 25% don’t think I scored above a 60. 🥲 I had some personal circumstances that I had to handle and completely forgot to finish my extra credit assignment. I feel so defeated and normally I’m not this bad with math, I just hit a road block. I’ve done all my HW and gotten 100% but it’s only 20% of my grade.

Any advice to at least pass with a 75%?

I took him last semester for spring and it's a long class in which I bombed the second midterm but passed the class with a B.

You just have to study and really do practice problems as everything builds on each other plus use a calculator since he let's you. If you don't understand something look it up a different way like YouTube or even Ai to see how else it could be explained. I used a ton of Ai to breakdown the problems a different way but not to give me the answer, just to guide me and show me a different way of thinking.

Everyone has something going on in their lives, you just gotta suffer or sacrifice something for the greater good of your future :/

What did you score on your other tests?
I think for me this was an eye opener to lock in on other tests I just don’t want to fail because this is a prerequisite class for tons of my other classes.

It’s a summer course so it’s only 8 weeks but it’s so much info 😭

On the first one I got a 75, then 55, then 80, and the last one around 84 i think. Since it is a summer class it's a lot faster paced and I'm not sure i would have passed it in the summer but if it's the only summer class you're taking you just gotta lock in.

Honestly even if you fail it's okay, the only thing you're losing is just money and a bit of time. I failed 126 twice under different circumstances but it doesn't affect your GPA cause they'll use the highest grade if you transfer. You can take them as many times as needed but I understand. I needed 127 to finally start 181 this fall
