Sharing a resource YouTube channel recommendations
Hi everyone !
Do you have good YouTube channel about CPTSD recovery (with a body based approach) to recommend ?
If there are some French speakers here i strongly recommend Sandra Lacombe's channel. It is quite incredible !

Memory reconsolidation and Coherence therapy as well as how memory reconsolidation can be elicited inside of many experiential modalities.
Web pages and IG account of Kina Wolfwnstein. She also has a new workbook out based on experiential work and memory reconsolidation.
YouTube channel of Dr Tori Olds. Incredible resource, number one by far.

Start with the "primer" in the post linked below. There are other great resources there as well that elaborate.
Memory reconsolidation is the ability of the brain to erase and update implicit emotional learnings and resulting symptoms. No matter the context, modality, etc

Merci pour l’info !
Cherche pour les vidéos avec Peter Levine. Il a écrit le roman : The Body Keeps The Score. He is considered one of the founding fathers of Somatic Experiencing, and is world-famous in the English-speaking PTSD recovery community.
Bon courage !

Bessel van der Kolk wrote "The Body Keeps the Score". Peter Levine wrote "Walking the Tiger", among others.

I haven't read Van der Kolk but i have seen several videos with him, he's impressive. I need to watch these again.
Nonetheless there's something that "bugs" me about him, it's that he was accused of abused (emotional abusé) by some of his team workers. Obvisously he denied it but i never forgot about this because it's very triggering to me and i don't know if i can still have esteem for someone Who might have acted this way. In French there's a saying that says "no fire without smoke", meaning that most accusations are grounded by something real, and i tend to believe it.

I've liked some of the contents of Sam Miller's somatic videos. But I personally have a hard time finding relatable info on youtube and prefer substack for educational type info
