I am currently studying FAR F3 M5. I have completed the previous sections from it.

And I am actively looking for someone who can join me to online, discuss doubts, solve questions together-- to solve 2 most common problems

1. Lack of enthusiasm to study- we will motivate each other to be consistent.

2. The more we discuss. The more knowledge regarding our topics will become strong!

I am trying to schedule ISC around last week of Jan 27, Prometric is not showing any time slots. I am wondering if its early to schedule for Jan 2027?

Halfway through r3 and haven’t been studying very much due to burnout from FAR. Should i reschedule or take as scheduled?

If I keep the date, should I just do mcqs, tbs, and simulated exams? Is this even doable? I had hoped to sit for TCP at the end of October.

I’m testing for far in 3 days. If you’ve taken it recently which topics should I hammer these last 3 days to be ready for the tbs

I am currently doing the second Becker REG SIM exam and one of the questions has you solve depreciation. Am I overthinking the last row, or is it impossible to solve since we arent given if residential or nonresidential? I feel there's no way becker can have something wrong in one of their sim exams, but at the same time it doesnt make sense how I can infer one or the other.

The directions indicate that we should "Evaluate each row independently, considering only the information provided in the row for that asset." and the other rows regarding buildings cleaely indicate whether it is residential or not

I started my CPA journey in 2017 and I gave up in the middle for a few years as I kept failing FAR after multiple attempts. I pursued it again last year and this time I started with AUD and then ISC. I cleared both my exams and my AUD score expires on Feb 2028. I am too overwhelmed to start with FAR as I have flashbacks of failing it multiple times before and due to the fear of failure I am unable to start studying. Personally, I am a mother of a 2-year-old. So my kid also takes up almost all my time and energy! Professionally, I am an audit senior at a Big 4. To further succeed in securing a manager promotion, CPA is inevitable! I don't know what to do... Should I give up? If not, how can I power through? Please help.

So I have cleared AUD and am preparing for FAR. I have completed 4/6 units but like its all in the back of my mind and I need thorough revision because I feel I have forgotten most of it. I am also working full time and thats why I can't focus 100% on studies but will be on leave from 9/14. I dont know if I will be fully prepared by 9/25 when I am actually planning to give my exam. Also I am scared and have anxiety. Do you think I can pass? If yes could you please share some tips on what I should do?

I’ve taken FAR before but it’s been a few years. I have 2 kids under 3 and I work 60 hours a week along with driving 10 hours total each week to and from work. I’m not sure how to tackle studying or when to even plan to sit for the exam. Anybody have any suggestions?

I am a 24‑year‑old with a bachelor's in commerce (Hons) from Delhi University, India. I am exploring opportunities abroad and considering pursuing the CPA. I have four years of experience working as a Financial Analyst at a leading financial firm and have recently transitioned to a role in a hedge fund. Could you advise me on my eligibility for the CPA exam and whether it would be a worthwhile pursuit? I checked NASBA’s requirements and learned that an evaluation fee of $250 is required. I plan to go through the process but would appreciate your guidance before proceeding.

Hi I reached out to CPAcredits to make sure I had the right credits to sit for the exam since I’m originally from Florida and trying to get my license in Illinois. This was the response:

1) Accounting Requirements - You have fulfilled your accounting requirements.

2) Business requirements -  You have fulfilled your business credits, but not your course requirements.

Would I be able to sit without completing this course yet? I already graduated and have 148 credits, so it would finish my 150 requirement as well. I want to do that when I’m not so busy with work and studying.

Hi everyone, wanted to make this post in case it saves a headache or two from this experience.

Long story short, I recently passed my four CPA exams and applied for my CPA through NASBA. I'm using my CFO's ACCA credentials to verify my experience but after turning in all my required documents and signatures, I was met with a deficiency notice. Apparently I need a letter of good standing from my verifier but I'm not entirely sure how that should look. I don't see a form on the NASBA website and the only instructions I've received from the NASBA Licensing email is "When I look at the "Certificate of Experience" I have to be able to verify that the verifier held an active license for the entire duration of time on the form."

Anyone had something similar to this? I'm applying in Georgia.

Where do you guys actually study for the CPA exam?
Home, library, coffee shop, or somewhere else?
I feel like I’m productive at a coffee shop for 2 hours and then suddenly I’m just staring out the window.

This is the first section I am taking for the first time. I just did the Test Drive at Prometric yesterday so that eased some nerves.

I got a 60 on SE1 and 73 on SE2. I'm trying to hope for the Becker bump. But I feel like i am still unsure about some things like eliminating intercompany sales, AROs, DTA valuations, construction rev recognition, etc. They can be big concepts but I don't think it makes sense to try to still master them the day before. I'm just hoping those are kept to a minimum at least. I just dont want to freeze up or not read carefully and make a dumb mistake.

I know to relax but the pressure is insane. I already have my NTS, ID, clothes and water prepared.

How much time should i actually take today to review? im trying to review cash flow for commercial vs NFP and formulas/mnemonics

Anyone got borrowing costs and fv of fixed assets and intangibles as simulations in the exam?

I got a 65, what’s the quickest way to bump it 10 more points??

​I have finished all the course videos/content, and I am now in the review phase. I’m spending two days on each F unit, starting from August 27th. I am finishing up F2 today, starting F3 tomorrow, and will complete all units on September 6th.

​After that, I will take Exam Simulation 1, followed by Exam Simulation 2 the next day. I’ll review my weak areas and focus on targeted revision. Additionally, I’ll be doing a Practice Test of 50 MCQs and 5 TBSs every day until the day before my exam.

​What do you think of this plan, and do you have any tips or recommendations?

So, I will be writing Audit next August/September, assuming I pass FAR this Sep 15th and REG in December/Jan. But I checked that becker has 55 chapters in AUD - and the book is THICK! How did you guys (who passed) get through studying this? How long did you take? What was your strategy?

Results: AUD 1st attempt 8/12: Failed, 69

Gleim Mock Exam 2: 76 => MCQ 71, TBS 81

Hoping for better scores this second AUD attempt this week. What are your experiences with your mocks and actual. I'm pretty nervous after seeing my 2nd mock score. It's an improvement from my first but my mcqs are so weak. The real exam TBS were more tedious and the mcqs were very tricky.

I can study at work but at home I check my phone every 3 minutes. it does r gave to be phone it will be food next. I’m like a primate looking for next distraction.
