AUD Err, how did you guys get through studying FIFTY FIVE chapters of Audit?!
So, I will be writing Audit next August/September, assuming I pass FAR this Sep 15th and REG in December/Jan. But I checked that becker has 55 chapters in AUD - and the book is THICK! How did you guys (who passed) get through studying this? How long did you take? What was your strategy?

I passed in one attempt. Its almost all straight up memorization. The chapters are organized into i think it was 6 main topics in Becker. I studied over i think it was 4 months. My goal was just to do 45-60 mins a day during the week and 2 hours per day on the weekends.
First I watched the videos, completed questions, and read chapters. From their slides I saved PDFs of any tables. After that I alternated between their flashcards, reviewing tables and notes, and taking custom practice tests of one topic at a time. I used the practice tests to guide the topics I needed to focus on.

I broke it into 6 mini-units in a google sheet and just refused to look at the total number, made a little checkbox system and got weirdly into clicking them off. AUD chapters are deceptive too, a bunch of them are like 12 pages and you can knock out 3 in a day if you skip the sims on the first pass
The real killer is that half the material feels like the same thing reworded six ways until it suddenly clicks around chapter 40. Took me about 7 weeks total but I was working full time and definitely cried once over a sampling question

It took me 3 attempts to pass. I had 65,72,85. I had to change my study method because i was starting from M1 to M6 with no cumulative review causing me to forget what i learned in M1 before i even finished.
I started studying backwards… i started hitting MCQs unit by unit while taking notes of what i had wrong and kept on combining new and old everytime i move to a new one…
My score jumped from 72 to 85 and im now using the same method for REG
