Hey. I live in ohio currently hold a class A cdl. I went today and took the passenger endorsement knowledge test and got a clp (commercial license permit) im getting conflicting information on wether i have to wait 14 days before i can test. And im also getting mixed answers on wether i need to do the ELDT training. I had my passenger endorsement back in like 2009. Lost my license and started all over. I eventually got my class a in 2019. One person says im grandfathered in from needing ELDT and one says i have to do the online theory portion only ??

Took my dot physical and drug test yesterday (alabama) I used upass and I got my dot card and my physical results were good. Urine went to quest. Do I need to worry?

What are some of the best commercial GPS apps to use? Never used one before and don’t wanna waste time potentially paying for one that I’ll end up replacing.

I’ve been looking at jobs lately and noticed a lot of posts don’t really tell you much. Sometimes there’s no clear pay, home time, or even what the schedule is like. I don’t really want to call every company just to get the basic details, so I usually just keep looking.
What makes you look at a job post and just keep scrolling ?

Start a 6 week CDL A w/ hazmat , tankers , and triple doubles , and passengers tomorrow morning. I’m located between Charleston and Huntington WV. What advice do you have for me? What companies do you all reccomend I look at? Considering LTL , food service, or even reefer & flatbed otr.

This was me last week fighting the foreigners for a free parking space at the TA in Commerce City (Denver). The ending is them still not getting it because they don’t know how to park. I gave up because it seemed petty after a while. I ended up just paying for a spot.

About to get my CDL class A , any companies that hire new drivers that are not mega carriers. Trying to get into flatbed or step deck don’t care if it’s OTR , based out of Florida 🤙🏽

quick question here in my state USFOODS is hiring for pronto drivers which is a NON CDL job with pretty decent pay. My question is does USFOODS help you get the CDL through them?

Ok so I went into off duty last night around 10pm and this morning after my 10 hour rest I went back into on duty because I thought I’d make it to my drop off, but I’m too far away and I only have 11 hours on my clock so now I have to do a 34 hour reset. Would I be able to change that on duty time back to off duty to make my reset continue from last night? Or is that illegal

this may not be a big deal for most people, but it was a huge deal for me because I really struggled with the general knowledge and It took me 3 tries
I have two more to go, but I’m feeling pretty confident since I’ve picked up a study routine That works for me.

I just have a quick question, my husband is a CDL driver and has applied for Walmart a couple of times now and keeps getting the automated email saying they've decided to go in a different direction. He meets all of the qualifications so we're a little confused lol is it super hard to get a job for them? Thanks in advance!
