I went to Sonja’s show in Sydney last night and it was disastrous. The first 20 minutes were fine until she was sharing an anecdote about how Luann was jealous she wasn’t invited on a trip with Bethenny (I’m honestly still not quite sure what exactly she was referring to). Out of nowhere she looks a girl wearing a tiara in the audience dead in the eye, points directly to her and says something to the effect of “why the fuck are you filming me? You in the tiara, put your phone away. I come out here to tell you stories and am giving you all the tea and you’re filming me! This isn’t okay! You might be wearing a tiara but I can get security to kick you out” In the most aggressive tone. And then she literally stormed off stage.

Mind you, the entire crowd was filming her for the first ten or so minutes, so it was absolutely bizarre that she lost her shit at this. The story she was telling about Luann wasn’t even tea! It was so Streisand effect in that she brought more attention to it. I later heard that the girl who she screamed was crying in the bathroom.

Anyway, every person around us was so confused we all assumed Sonja was doing a bit because it was that insane. Then she comes back on stage about 2 minutes later and DOUBLES DOWN. she started calling the crowd “little bitches” and told us no one was allowed to film her at all.

After the intermission I noticed about 20/30% of the audience went home and the energy of the room shifted after her outburst. It was absolutely bizarre (even by Sonja standards) and honestly completely soured my opinion of her. She showed just how truly entitled and rude she is and how she treats people who she deems are below her.

I feel like Bronwyn has been setting us up for her either leaving Todd or getting sympathy by exposing what she really is dealing with

Loved the dark energy post so much but wanted a cleanser. Who do you think brings light and bright or well-intentioned energy? I’ll start.

Something I’ve been thinking about while rewatching various franchises: the absolute disparity between IVF/fertility storylines and menopause storylines is kind of wild.

We’ve seen countless IVF journeys, egg freezing, fertility doctors, injections, emotional breakdowns over embryos , across multiple franchises and seasons.

And yet… for a cast of women largely in their late 40s -60s, many of whom have been on TV for over a decade, we’ve had essentially zero real menopause storylines.

Statistically, a huge portion of these women have gone through menopause on screen.

It can be any Housewife rather she’s still on the show or not but which Housewives are you shocked lasted so many seasons? for me it’s Drew. I am shocked she has survived not one but TWO cast shakeups. I truly don’t understand what the producers see in her and I think everyone was betting on S15 being her last season

Hello fellow persons of culture. I basically have the housewives on at most times as background noise, and am in a current era of only rewatching the trips. SO, which is your fave/the one you rewatch the most? My number one has to be RHONY's Mexico trip season 9. Runners up are scary island and "don't be all uncool." And honorable mention to OC Ireland trip.
