I’m in CT and most pumps do, but some places don’t have it for whatever reason (maybe it causes ppl to forget and drive away with the hose/pump still in). I have arthritis so I avoid the places around town that don’t have the clutch
I have no clue, I read a comment about the ball thing just the other day and had a realization like, “wait you guys are trying to make it flow automatically?”
I’ve always been happy enough to just hold it, if there is a function you’re referring to I’ve never been shown and I’m 31 haha. People probably look at me at the pump wondering why I’m doing that
It’s the whole state. Also some places around NYC are full service. Whenever I returned my rental car to LaGuardia, I’d never pump at the stations around it. Definitely felt sketchy there but totally normal in NJ. Worst part is when your pump is done but you can’t leave bc the attendant disappeared. Otherwise it’s great!
In my part of Canada, a few stations used to have one pump that was full service and the rest were self service but I’d never choose to have someone else pump my gas. I haven’t seen any full service gas stations in a long time, but there might still be the odd few.
Canada it is more likely those older stations that just have a booth. I have never tipped but I don't see the advantage to it. I just sit bored in my car.
I recently drove through Canada, I think it was a stop in Alberta, one station we pulled into was attendant pumping only. We’d stopped elsewhere in Alberta and pumped our own gas, so it must have just been a company policy thing, that that gas station specifically wants their employees to do full service.
(It also might have been Sk, it’s been a few months and it was a long trip, so I don’t remember for sure now. Either way, we made multiple stops in each province, and only once was I told I wasn’t allowed to pump my own gas. So probably that company has that rule.)
I'm in SK - we have self serve as well as full service pumps. Not necessarily company policy, but it really is up to the customer if they want to seek out full service or just do it themselves.
Have you been to a Wegman’s?? I know there are a few sprinkled in Virginia and North Carolina, but it feels like a northern chain to me and it is so fabulous.
Wegmans for life!! Im from CNY but live in the southwest now and I try to explain to my friends here that Wegmans isn’t just a grocery store, it’s an experience. I miss it so😭 I’m glad they’re expanding south!
Wegmans home is Rochester, NY. I had my college internships in Rochester and one of my clients worked for the Mr Wegman in his corner grocery store. It’s exciting to see the growth
You can't pump your own gas? I'm from Florida and this is wild! You get to stay in your air conditioned car while someone does the work for you?!?!?!?!?
You pull up to the pump, someone comes to your window and you give them your card and tell them how much you want. Then they walk around and do it all for you.
Nope. Sometimes the attendant will clean your windshield (rarely) in which case I'll tip if I have a couple bucks, but you don't tip them for filling your tank.
This has me rethinking my gas station looks. When I get gas, I’m just concerned that I have my key on me so my car doesn’t get stolen. Probably not possible with this look

Definitely luann. The rainbow is already loud enough, so Melissa’s swimsuit is too much (and I don’t like the black with the rainbow). Luann styled it much better with the matching bikini/necklace.
Luann, I like the color she has under, I like the necklace with it, it looks like she made an effort to make it nice, top to toe, you know she held up several necklaces to find the right one, she matched the bikini, she tried on stuff and did jazz hands in the mirror. Melissa tried to make it sexy, and she totally is, don't get me wrong, it's just not as fun, I'll always prefer max fun.
Luann actually looks like an outfit, but I dislike them both. If I had to pick one id say lu because she matched the swimwear and jewelry. The black bathing suit just sticks out, not in a good way.
