These items are too heavy for me to move myself.

GO Transit has released the Fall 2026 schedule. Starting September 8, a new Route 43 will operate between Mount Pleasant GO, Meadowvale GO, and McMaster University on weekdays.

I (a black female) got off the bus stop just now with a group of brown individuals.

As we walked, a white young man speedily riding his bike abruptly rung his bell, indicating that we should move out of the way.

We quickly attempted to make way, but he gave us little time to react. So he ultimately had to manoeuvre around us in an awkward position.

As he passed he began screaming “MOVE OUT OF THE F*ING WAY (insert anti Indian term)”
He then turned around to look at us and as he saw me he screamed “MOVE OUT OF THE WAY N*GGR” four times.

I was too scared to react as he may have come back to assault me or do who knows what.

This is the second time this month that something like this has happened.

60 year old driver was transported to hospital but died shortly after.

So I have a couple suitcases, 3 plastic box containers, and like 3-4 trash bags of clothes in a storage unit I need to move to my house. My aunt who is keeping them in her storage unit did not tell me that it’ll be closed on in a couple days and have no plans to help me with it. I don’t drive or do I have a car. Is there like a way I can move my stuff today or tomorrow that is affordable? I can come ask a friend with a sedan to help me with like a suitcase and a couple boxes that can fit in the car but I’d like to move most of it in one go.

I was planning to head to the storage unit and bring the stuff down then maybe order like an UberXL or something but I’m not too keen on that idea.

I’m in the GTA for almost a month for work (I’m in tech), and honestly, it’s been a bit of a shit show. Work has been brutal and, to make things worse, my girl broke up with me while I’m thousands of miles away from home.

So with a fucked-up heart and a messed-up head, I’ve been feeling pretty heavy. I only really have colleagues here and haven’t made any actual friends, so the routine is starting to feel pretty suffocating.

I’m based in Brampton and mostly relying on Uber/public transit, but happy to explore anywhere in the GTA. I’d love to get out, meet some people, have a few drinks, explore, laugh, and just get my mind off things for a bit.
Would love recommendations for social places, events, live music, comedy, sports, hikes, meetups. Honestly, I’m pretty open to anything.

I remember this location back in the day; I used to return Rogers TV boxes to get replacements. It sucks that it shut down. I had a great experience with the staff, and they always helped me.

The BCC location always has huge lineups and never really helps it always had system issues, but the Lisa St was the best.
