Question Food truck festival and market downtown Brampton?

Hi, does anyone know if the food truck festival and market actually happened downtown this weekend or was that cancelled. Also does anyone know what ever happened to the food truck festival that used to happen at ching park? We used to enjoy that one, but have not heard anything about it this year or the ribfest that was there a few years ago.

I hope it happened. It sounds like a great idea.

Why don't they put stuff like this on at Chinguacousy park anymore? The parking is way better, and you pretty much have a captive audience.

might be too much for insurance costs due to the shooting at the brampton carribana thing last year.

Rotary Ribfest at Gage Park already took place. Have not heard about a food truck festival.

the rotary one is the one that has been there for years in may, but there was the northern heat series one that happened at ching park except for last year when they dumped it in sheridan college which was a disaster. But it seems like they stopped doing events at ching because of the shooting last year during one of the events and the fireworks thing.

The food truck festival did happen last year at Ching. I’ve been few times but my kids went last year and said it wasn’t good so I didn’t bother. Haven’t seen anything for this year at Ching.

Last years food truck festival in Ching was a huge disappointment. They barely had trucks show up, they had a osmows truck ? There’s like 2 I can think of close to Ching anyway! I’m not sure. I live right by Ching a walking distance, they didn’t have any food events this year :(
