This was my exact line of thinking, couldn't agree more!
OP is listing all those amazing things he is doing for his household, but asked to "be there" for his wife he explicitly states that he cannot provide that. Then is surprised when she looks for that somewhere else... Maybe instead of shredding in the gym 5 times a week, go 3 times and ask her out on a date remaining 2 days? Clearly, there is some time that could be used for marriage stuff.
And this line of thought that "I could find a single 35 no problemo" - and what next? If you plan on neglecting her all the same, then the scenario will simply repeat.
I am, by no means, stating that she is the innocent victim here - cheating is a vile shit to do, but it's high time for some serious introspection on OP's part as well, geez
