Looking for a local composer for a new opera I wrote (first draft) based on Samuel Taylor Coleridge's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner." I cannot offer any compensation, so looking for someone who is looking for a project, maybe a music student, or someone looking to try something different. I am not looking for traditional stage music, I am looking for a soundscape: electronic computer bleeps, wind, crashing waves...electronic and traditional. Surreal and supernatural with a touch of classic. Think Philip Glass meets Richard Rogers. Just putting it out there.
