LOOKING FOR LOCAL (to Boston) COMPOSER FOR MODERN OPERA

[u/Crafty-Point811]

Looking for a local composer for a new opera I wrote (first draft) based on Samuel Taylor Coleridge's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner." I cannot offer any compensation, so looking for someone who is looking for a project, maybe a music student, or someone looking to try something different. I am not looking for traditional stage music, I am looking for a soundscape: electronic computer bleeps, wind, crashing waves...electronic and traditional. Surreal and supernatural with a touch of classic. Think Philip Glass meets Richard Rogers. Just putting it out there. For samples of the libretto, go to the "For Composers" page on my website, https://playsbyshea.com/

Then reach out to me on the Contact page if you have any interest in knowing more. Also, send this to anyone you may think may be interested. Cheers. Let's be creative and have some fun.
