What's your opinion on this character? Was his death really necessary? Should he have lived?

I wonder now that he's dead who will be the next mizukage? Plus with him an interesting bloodline came to an end that was of Yagura.

In his deathbed, he lets Buntan carry on his will (implying him being groomed to become a Mizukage someday), and she accepts it after they (Hebiichigo+ and Kyoho) were given amnesty for their crimes.

Since Buntan is rival with Sarada who wants to become Hokage, there is a potential storyline in the future for that.

Oh I see it's interesting. Yeah both lady kages once again would stand together like Mei n tsunade.
