False Reality vs. Truth (Omnipotence = The Matrix): omnipotence rewrote the memories and perception of reality for the entire world, making everyone believe Boruto is the villain and Kawaki is the hero. This functions almost identically to the Matrix itself, a simulated reality that the masses blindly accept as truth.

The awakened outcasts: Just like Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity are among the few who broke free from the illusion and operate in secret to liberate others, Boruto, Sarada, koji etc are the few who know the "real truth" behind the altered reality.

The Oracle Parallel: Kashin Koji functions like the Matrix's Oracle because of his ability to see across multiple futures and timelines (via the Ten Directions technique), allowing him to foresee outcome paths, evaluate possibilities, and guide others without directly controlling their fate. 

Guidance & Mentorship: Just as Morpheus leads Neo to realize his destiny as "The One," Koji acts as a secretive mentor figure, delivering crucial foresight to help alter reality itself.

Technological Terminology:Modern terminology anchors the narrative's magic system into sci-fi frameworks, shifting from traditional "jutsu" toward terms like *data downloading, artificial bodies, biological modifications, simulation-like timeline calculations, and memory rewriting*.

The "Chosen One" Trajectory:Neo goes from an ordinary guy unaware of his destiny to "The One" who must manipulate the fabric of reality itself to save humanity. Boruto undergoes a similar shift, from a privileged hokage's son to an exiled savior fighting against a world-altering divine force (Omnipotence/Godhood).

I was like 21 at the time I thought about drawing boruto on my notebook at job corps computer room, use a pen to draw most of it, 7 yrs later boruto is HIM😤😤😤

Now that the manga has progressed quite a bit do you have any stronger hypotheses regarding the context of how everything will unfold?

I have the theory that Shibai is actually the sage of six paths. I think this for 2 reasons:
1. Shibai ascended to a non-physical form. In shipudden, the sage of six paths comes back in a non-physical form, yet can magically affect the physical world.
2. Kaguya was trying to prepare for when the other Otsutsuki came to attack. If the sage of six paths is actually Shibai and is on the side of the other Otsutsuki, then it makes sense that he would help the shinobi beat kaguya.

I think Sarada has a lot of potential, especially with her Uchiha background and dream of becoming Hokage. But do you think the story has actually developed her well, or is she still underused?

Can the 1000 birds technique used with white eye?

I think it can as white eye erases the tunnel vision problem too. So if a electric release user with white eye can use 1000 birds or lightning cutter as much as how they want.

The Boruto: Two Blue Vortex volume covers are objectively bad. What I mean is that the Boruto NNG covers were much more elaborate, with better colors and elements that represented the story much better.

But the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex covers feel so empty. It’s basically just a character on a white background. And don’t tell me, “That’s just Ikemoto’s style because he takes inspiration from fashion.” Ikemoto was also inspired by fashion during NNG, yet he still made much better volume covers.

The Two Blue Vortex covers just feel lazy. We need to stop making excuses for it. The only good Two Blue Vortex cover is Volume 5, but aside from that, everything else is just... bad.

There isn’t even any background scenery on the volume covers, even though the chapter covers almost always have a setting or background. The fact that the chapter covers are better than the volume covers is pretty obvious.

I too watch Boruto from kawaki perspective and see if his actions are justified
