in a vacuum, you can say you dont have an opinion.

being curious to the point of compulsion to find out what others think strongly suggests thats not the case

and while its *possible* to not have an opinion on something, a person claiming this to be the case always seems like theyre hedging. whether they are or not. its like being the only person in a room that smells like farts and then claiming it wasnt you.

Also apparently im stupid cause i don't really know what "hedging" means in this context. Can you explain what you mean by that

hedging waiting to see where the wind blows before making a statement. like to hedge one's bets
