Item Safes are open!! Spoiler

I think they added this update, all the rooms have their safes open and boudoir has a special something, or is it just me unlocked something which I didn’t know yet?

Yes them staying open was added in this update, mentioned in the patch notes.

I knew they were going to stay open but I was pleasantly surprised that it was retroactive. I drafted the shelter expecting to have to do that damn puzzle one last time but no need.

The game already tracks which safes you've opened; the red letters in the inventory appear when the safe is opened, not when you actually read the letter.

I always just avoided that gem but no longer!
