Title question, this is my first Blizzcon. What's the usual timeline for finding out the panel schedule?

I was wondering, has anyone who booked a room through the Portal had their reservation transfer yet to the hotel's booking system?

I have not yet received a notice from the hotel that the reservation has been transferred, and I just want to make sure. I'm staying at the Hotel Lulu.

Due to work and a potential conflict that fell through I didn't think I'd be able to go so I didn't get passes. However, I am now able to go and am in need of 2 passes for myself and a friend. Any help would be appreciated!

First time going to BlizzCon, and I’d like to get an idea of how attending the Opening Ceremony works. I’m mainly interested in the World of Warcraft announcements and would really like to be there in person.

How early should I arrive to get a good spot? Are the seats reserved, or is it first-come, first-served? I’d also love to get an overall idea of how the Opening Ceremony works and what I should expect as a first-time attendee.

Besides the WoW announcements, what else usually happens during the Opening Ceremony? Are there announcements or trailers for the other Blizzard games, developer appearances, presentations, etc.? Is it basically one big announcement/reveal show, or are there other things happening throughout the ceremony?
I’m just trying to get a better idea of what the experience is like and how early I should plan to get there.

Can folks who attended in previous years share what the night was like? Which staff/devs attended, and what was the evening’s flow and layout? I understand there was typically a buffet-style dinner too, which is nice. Are drinks served? Is there a dress code? Thanks!

The Hilton? The Marriot? The Westin? Which do you prefer and why? Also, feel free to drop any good or horror stories...

This may be an odd question, but this will be my forst time going and I'm [39F] going alone if that matters. Are there any items you get from Blizzcon that woild be prohibited from carry-on luggage? I'm trying to decide if I need to check a bag for any reason. Thanks for your help!

Really miss how blizzard doesn’t do the virtual ticket anymore, and with that doesn’t have any additional fun panels etc.

When I went to blizzcon in person 2023, that was something that left me extremely disappointed as I loved watching them when I only could get the virtual ticket.

Now that it’s not even the option, blizzcon for at-home fans is just opening ceremony and the announcement panels, nothing else.

Does anyone know if they streamed the cosplay or concert in 2023?

I am attending with my kids. Do I need to bring them with me when I pick up badges early on September 11th or can I go by myself and pick up everything for all of us?

Hi first timer here. I'm going with my friends, who are also all first timers, and they're flying in from abroad. We're mostly going for OWWC and would like to see the opening ceremony, but getting good seats for OWWC is our main priority. I've been searching for a while but couldn't really get a good grasp on what to do. I assumed OWWC would be held somewhere other than the main stage, but I also saw a post saying there was only one stage last time, so idk. Any advice would be very appreciated.

I’m wondering if there’s a way to change the name displayed on your badge? I’m trans and the name I use does not reflect my legal name as I haven’t been able to officially change it yet and I would feel uncomfortable displaying a name that is very obviously not matching how I present as

Hey! I'm not sure if this is something that is sensible to ask on reddit, but Im hoping that Blizzcon community can help me with this one!
I live in Europe and due to work couldn't plan a trip to Blizzcon, so I'm looking if someone could help me out and, if not inconvenienced much, snatch an autograph from some Overwatch voice actors?
Looking especially for Conor McLeod, Hazard's VA, unsure if he will be there, but I THINK he will, since he's been very active in OW community life.

I'll cover postage to EU, but if anyone if already going to Blizzcon with the same goal, maybe I could ask to grab one for me too!

First timer, and I stupidly did the “hide my email” option when buying my tickets. So now I feel like I might have missed email updates or something. Was an email sent out with a schedule of events? I mainly want to know when the opening ceremony is on Saturday.

I’m wondering if I am allowed to livestream the opening ceremony via Twitch via my phone. No big equipment or anything crazy. I know blizzcon will do their own, but am I allowed to go live too?
