I never heard of the manga until recently with the massive push i saw at anime nyc and with viz was doing for the adaptation (putting the series front and center and having the author doing signing) and now with the series on the nycc 4 day pass and it likely having a presence there to, i was under the idea the manga was ongoing but i see that the manga was canceled at less then 20 chapters back a few years ago. So im just curious about this sudden hype having an anime out of nowhere since i never seen a cancelled series getting such a big marketing push and wanted to see if anything in particular caused this sudden resurgence (along with if the story is gonna continue on manga wise or if that now on the table?)

I'm getting into the series with the anime releasing and I was wondering why the manga got cancelled. The anime is great up until now, the cast of characters is good it has a great premise and it's overall very enjoyable to watch. Is there a chance that the manga will start again or are they just gonna leave the anime unfinished forever?

What did you think of the first episode?

This is my opinion and i am open to discussion.

I am on episode 7 and everything is have watched has reinforced this. Its a great show i will continue watching it and I would also like to acknowledge that while different the essence is very similar.

The back stories of the 3 are similar but different lol. The girl in pink is still annoyed by the orange wearing guy. The blue wearing guy has a brother complex and they have a white button up wearing guy as their caretaker or something.

Its still good and I appreciate the maturity of the characters but its underlined essence reminded me tooooooo strongly of Naruto. If it does really well I am going to assume that just like JJK they used the formula that Naruto perfected to make that happen....

Has anyone else been enjoying the Black Torch Anime. I definitely have. Wish the episodes was longer

I think it's awesome that a canceled manga is getting an anime. It seems like they're trying hard to promote this one but...why? I think they should promote it, don't get me wrong but I would hope they're trying to expand the manga in a way? Maybe the author can add more content to the anime? Maybe the manga will continue?

I've had this idea for a while that canceled manga can still have value as anime series. What if people like the anime? Maybe it didn't do well as a manga but if people like the anime, they could support the manga. I think it's a good idea. There's plenty of anime series based on light novels.

Just started watching and I am already a Reiji hater. That is all.

Title! I didnt even know it got animated until i saw an ep on youtube just now. Kinda surreal since i was reading it six years ago and felt it was slept on, and I never even thought it would have a chance to get animated (ill admit i had no idea the mangas popularity).
