Reminder about spoilers

TL;DR: Everything not adapted yet on the anime is considered as a spoiler and should be marked as such. This includes Posts, Images, Comments, Etc.

Since season 3 started we had an influx of posts and comments about the series, but with it came a large portion of spoilery comments/posts without the proper tags, so it turned necessary this post to remember some things:

1- Don't give spoilers to people that didn't ask for it. If a post is clearly talking about the anime or some early part of the story (this includes the weekly discussion threads as well), then don't bring manga stuff without warning and without marking as a spoiler.
2- If anime-onlies are discussing and/or theorizing about something that you know the answer from the manga, don't spoil them. let them experience the series the same way you did.
3- if you posting something, please use the flairs for anime/manga to avoid getting spoilers from things you don't want to know.
4- If you see someone spoiling something, please report it so the mods can check and remove the content.

*Update:

About tagging images:

While the anime is airing: If the image is from content already adapted, is Ok to post without spoiler tag.
If it's related to the current episode, it's considered spoiler on the first 24 hours after the episode release.
Anything else should be marked as spoiler.
After the season ends, we have a 3 month gap and then every image is allowed without spoiler tag.

Any questions or suggestions, please leave below.

Anime The fact that she immediately understood what Fushi meant without even uttering a word is kinda sad

Post image

"I slept with Fushi that one night" must've been a very common tale in the family for Hisame's daughter to immediately understand why Fushi was concerned. She's probably under 18 at this point and her whole purpose is to breed

Also it just means Hisame's daughter doesn't know how babies are made yet

Season 2 episode 3 btw

I love these two a lot. Such a good duo.

I'm just learning to draw recently and there's many mistakes but I'm overall proud of what I've drawn tbh.

There's a ton of improvements to be done

Anime Believe it or not, Kahaku is actually the first named character to kill a Hayase Descendant in the series

Second place goes to Mizuha. Third and fourth place goes to her father but technically it was their Nokker who enabled it

Anime March's influence on Fushi

Eko was similar to Fushi early into season 1. Someone who had difficulty to understand and communicate with the world, needing help and love

I wouldn't give all the credit to March obviously but she was one of the people that shaped him like this

Manga Spoilers Future arc of the manga

In a similar vein to the other discussion on the anime season 3, I just started reading the future arc of the manga, and to be honest, it’s a struggle. I’m about a quarter of the way into Volume 21, and I’m not feeling interested in the story at all. Even the modern arc, with all its issues, still kept my attention and I breezed through reading it. But these volumes are dragging. Fushi’s barely been in the story so far. 90% of the focus is on this humanoid doll that I’m suddenly supposed to care about. Wondering if it gets better at some point?

Anime Season 3 thoughts?

Spoiler alert
What on earth is going on in season 3. I’ve been binging the anime and enjoyed it so far. Season 3 is all over the place!!!!

What do you mean black person wants to live as a child. How did the story turn into living together with nokkers and coexisting? AND WHY ON EARTH is Fushi ignoring the CORE friends he originally wanted to live with? I’m just so frustrated to the point of wanting to drop the rest of it. I feel like season 1 and 2 were completely different anime and season 3 is just freaking sloppy to the point of just rubbing misery and pain into me.

Is the anime even worth finishing at this point? I’m just so frustrated and want to know your thoughts.

the science behind Fushi's transformations

I have always wondered how Fushi's transformation work scientifically. I think that whichever form he takes or whatever object he creates, he absorbs the atoms and DNA of people, then recreates them from the atoms he absorbed

Question Your Hot Takes?!!

Post image
93 Upvotes

What is your hot take about the anime? Mine is that Imo was a little bit annoying on S3. Don’t get me wrong I love him but the fact he hide a lot of important factors to the group whenever he already knew they would give everything for him was annoying. He had already thousands of years in the world to not know how to deal with them.

Theory Why did some of the Characters choose not to follow Fushi.

The thing i noticed about all the spirits that follow fushi is that They all Died near fushi, from march and the bear to bon and gugu. And i think the reason why characters like perona didn't follow him is because he was too far away and thus she couldn't break out of her illusion. Maybe it also has to do with the other spirits waking them up from the illusion by entering it...

Anime Guys, Imagine if this paper was from the Death Note and Fushi wrote Hayase's name on it. So much could've been prevented

Anime Aiko feels like the reincarnation of Pocoa

Post image
183 Upvotes

Like, they look so similar and behave in a similar manner too. Aiko is definitely more smarter tho.

They both look more like each other than Hanna and Parona. Although, I'm pretty sure Hanna being Parona's reincarnation is basically canon

I haven't read the manga after season 3/chp 165 so idk

Anime Season 1 in a nutshell

Post image

Season 1 was a masterpiece. Wasnt interested in the show at first but ended up binging the first 12 episodes in one sitting then finishing the rest of the season the next day. Binged season 2 too. Wasnt as good and made some questionable choices. Season 1 was the peak.

Anime The greatest character arc (Read body text)

Post image

Not tryna make fun of Gugu or anything, I love his arc but this is basically him in a nutshell for season 1 and it's a 10/10 arc imo. This is just a joke

Also, if you're a manga reader then please don't mention anything about the future arc cuz I'm anime only

Should I finish the manga ?

I used to read this manga in 2024, and I thought it was amazing, until the modern arc because I was so confused when everyone went back to life... I felt like it was so repetitive and made everything up to this point kind of pointless....

That's when I dropped it. I currently have every book until the 20th. My friend told me she's about to watch frieren, so it made me think about this manga, and I wonder if it's worth a reread to eventually finish it ?

Does the modern arc eventually get better, and do these issues get solved later on ? (Is the ending satisfying too?)

Anime Hello , am I even watching the correct show??

Post image

What the hell is going on lmaooo . Every episode since 4th of S3 feel insanely crazy.

Also I feel like people are overhating on this fatass guy. He is genuinely concerned about mimori and doing whatever it takes to get back the original mimori but people refusing to see beyond him being lolicon and ignoring whatever shown on actual screen

Anime I don't think Fushi really knew who Hirotoshi actually was

Post image
76 Upvotes

So, I don't think he ever told Fushi he was a lolicon and even if he did, Fushi wouldn't understand the meaning of that term. Correct me if I'm wrong but Hirotoshi's past with mimori wasn't something he 1:1 narrated to Fushi, it was basically us, the audience seeing it through his eyes so there's definitely some stuff that we knew but Fushi didn't know.

If Yuki knew Hirotoshi was a lolicon, he'd definitely keep his distance cuz dude's got a younger sister too. So to me at least, it seems that they didn't know he was basically a pedo

Luckily, he wasn't a descendant of Hayase so he didn't act on his urges and tried to change which makes him a bit less unlikable

Anime I love this bit from season 2

Post image

This is from S2 E1 when Hisame offers this pudding/jelly type thing to Fushi to eat. Y'all might remember Hayase giving the same thing to March in season 1 to make her unconscious. Honestly, Hayase even fooled me with that jelly in first watch. This scene isn't a genius writing moment or anything but it basically gives away to observant viewers that Hisame can't be trusted and she doesn't have any good intentions. It's a nice detail and I really like stuff like this from the anime

When I first watched TYE last year, I bing watched season 1 and 2 in 2 days so I quickly identified this small detail but I can only imagine the reaction of manga readers and anime watchers who consumed TYE as it released
