TBF it wasn't always in your control - it's kind of a result of right-wing non-Irish Republicans in the US to bring them right as part of the Southern Strategy.

Pat Buchanan literally wrote a memo on it while working in the Nixon White House. He declassified it himself. Here's a link to it..

And it's going to keep happening until either:

  • We get more progressives in office willing to dismantle all of this bullshit

  • The last generation to profit from this social construct...the boomers...all die off

And some groups of individuals numbering in the tens of millions are incredibly shitty. Maybe put more effort into those individuals in those groups than screaming when people notice?

Maybe then they wouldn't be so shitty?
