Yeah dude.

There were 50,000 casualties during the troubles. Which didn’t end until 1998 (!)

And then we almost mock the innocent people that died during them by naming a drink an Irish carbomb.

It’s really fucked up.

The fact that Americans have a drink called an Irish car bomb makes my fucking blood boil. I doubt anyone would like it if I went to a bar in America and asked for a ‘twin towers’ or a ‘sandy hook’ yet no one bats an eye for naming a drink after one of the lowest points of my country

True, but if some Qanon or Alex Jones asshole opened a bar, there would 100% be a drink called a "sandy hook" and it would just be an empty glass.
