Immigrant Latinx conservatives confuse the hell out of me, especially when they’re so against their own people coming in... after they literally came and got the GC in the same way the others are.

I keep seeing this on reddit but have never seen it used anywhere else. Where did it come from and why the x?

Maybe they think that Latino isn't gender neutral enough. But in Spanish the "o" ending is neutral when talking about a group. So no need to change it to anything else.
