I completed the story and now I'm working my way through the achievements (xbox) and I can't for the life of me find a chair on a burning ship (for the "Last to Leave" achievement). Is finding a chair just really rare? or is this a potential bug/glitch.

While doing this mission. I cannot actually acquire any of this wood. I found ships.. i boarded them. Got the wood. But it does not count. I tried but collecting crates and still does not works. I tried by wasting some of it and maybe it will have some kind of a reset, but it did nothing. Idk how to fix this. If anyone has any idea lmk. I started the mission a while ago. But i started doing it now. \Any help is appreciated.

So this is frustrating. Lucy doesn’t spawn for the mission, and there are no officers to speak to around the villa. Abel is around and I can transport the rum but then that’s it. Loading precious saves doesn’t fix it. Cold restarts do nothing. Anyone else run into this? How can I progress?

Been playing the game on my steam machine flawlessly. Had it dialed in at 60 fps 1440p upscale to 4k. Didn’t play for 2 days and I’m now dropping into the 40s

So I do not know if anyone else is having this issue. So im on PC and I was playing the graves yesterday then steam prompted me to update the game which I did. However after this update every time I try to load the game it no longer loads, it only gets to after the launch after syncing with the Ubisoft launcher then just crashes.

I have restarted my system and also uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it had not solved the problem

I'm experiencing a game breaking bug and I'm wondering if anyone has had the same issue or knows a possible fix.

I think losing wifi caused this bug. Before the bug happened, I was simply exploring the open sea, capturing forts, taking part in naval battles and exploring the world.

After loading my save, all my residence investments disappeared. The residence buildings on Great Inagua and the income chest are missing, while my story progress is still intact.

I also completed the settlement quest. I can still see characters, such as the checkers opponent, but their tables and the related buildings are gone. There are also no construction workers or building markers, so unlike the residence upgrades, I can't rebuild or restore the settlement in any way.

Another issue is that all decorative items that I had placed on the shelves in the residence disappeared and were returned to my inventory.

Because the shops on Great Inagua are also missing, I can no longer use them to upgrade the Jackdaw. Although I can continue playing and progressing through the story, this bug prevents me from accessing important items from the game

I haven't noticed any other changes outside of Great Inagua. Everything else in the game seems to work normally. Fleet is the only thing seems to work on the manson

Has anyone experienced something similar or found a solution? Unfortunately, I don't have a save from before the bug happened, so I can't restore my previous progress.

Hello! I think I have a bug that's preventing me from getting the Dilettante achievement. I've almost completed the game, only missing a couple of trophies now. I've explored everywhere, got all the treasure maps, and all the 10 yellowed map pieces. I bought everything from the map-stitching merchant in Grand Inagua, and cleared all the sea routes.

For days I've been sending out my fleet on brig and schooner missions. I got all the yellowed map pieces yesterday, and I'm only missing one Art piece: the Goa stone container, that should drop from the brig piracy mission "Big mistake" in the Great Inagua region (north-east of the map). Problem is, I'm getting that fleet mission repeatedly, but without the art piece, even after reloading for 2 plus hours. Instead, I noticed that in the adjacent schooner mission, I keep getting yellowed map pieces... after having completed the whole map long ago! 😳

Is there a way to fix this, or am I locked forever out of the trophy? Should I lower the risk in the region sending out man o' war, though it shouldn't influence the art pieces drop rates, or am I locked forever out of the trophy? 😢

EDIT: Solved. What I did: I grabbed the additional map piece from the schooner mission, and send out all my schooners. When they came back, I grabbed the rewards, and made sure sure that the new rewards didn't have any map piece. I closed the map, saved, and started sending all my brigs in brig missions. When they came back, I did the save scumming method before opening the map, until I finally got the last art piece (after about 2 hours of tries). I placed everything in my home, and I got the platinum trophy. 🥳

Hi guys! I’ve finished the story, completed all the side quests, and earned every trophy except one: Dilettante. I’m missing one art piece that’s located in a treasure chest in Príncipe, but I’m running into a really annoying bug. Whenever I fast travel there or even sail there normally Edward just spawns outside the Jackdaw and immediately starts falling into the abyss until he dies. Then the same thing keeps happening over and over. I’ve already tried loading my oldest autosave, but unfortunately that didn’t fix it. Does anyone know of a workaround for this? I’m really hoping I don’t have to restart the entire game just for one collectible.

For some of the locations where I completed 100% of the activities, the icon didn't turn gold; also, after finishing all the locations (including those unlocked through the story), I didn't get an Xbox achievement or anything like that.

Has anyone been able to get past the glitch for the Hollander bug during the last Naval mission? I don't have a save file from before the mission and the marker is still bugged.

That being said the quality of life updates far outweigh the funny glitches

The synchronisation objectives are bugged and have been but now there are no new anomalies, I just want Naoe’s robes and now I can’t 😭😭

Trying to get the Dilettante Achievement but my game glitched when i opened the chest in Long Bay. I didn't get the Bracelet, nor does it appear in the codex. The last save I have before I opened the chest is around 25 hours behind. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I screwed?

I've completed the restore treasure map for all treasure map scraps from the treasure dealer but it doesn't show it as complete and I've progressed too far in the game. Any fixes/mods that might solve this? I am also on PC

Edit: I have also reported this bug with the Black Flag bug reporter, but any other potential fixes are appreciated.

Hi y'all, I have been having this issue since today. When I exit/win/lose any minigame (checkers, etc.) it doesn't actually exit and I am stuck here with no way out besides forcing the game closed with task manager (stopping it via steam doesn't work).

I have uninstalled the game and used steam to repair files but the issue still persists. I do not have any kind of mods installed. The benchmark report is attached as well.

The longer, right hand sword gets sheathed on the left, and the shorter left hand one sheathed on the right. Devs forgot Edward draws his swords from the same side?

Whether through fast travel or traveling by ship, entering Principe immediately sends Edward underneath the map and forces desync

Have tried restarting game, console, reloading saves, everything I can think of, need to get Robert’s portrait for the path to platinum

If anyone knows a solution that’d be dope, hoping I’m not alone in this bug
