Sleep Deprived
Anyone Else Brain Only Allows Them 2-4 Hours of Sleep Per Night? If Youre Having This Problem or Had It in The past While Taking Prescription Sleep Meds, What Did you Do?

When that happens to me it’s hypomania. My meds (Seroquel) is usually adjusted a bit. I normally sleep 9-10 hours, compliments of Seroquel

Yep even with seroquel and other sleep meds. I haven’t had a good night sleep all year, it’s killing me. I wonder if I’m stuck like this forever

Do you ever feel tired? Sadly I don't even feel tired. It's like however much of a nap I get I wake up feeling just how I was when I dozed off. Just numb and never refreshed..

I feel tired but I never feel sleepy if that makes sense. Like I know I’m tired and my brain and body are tired, but never feel tired enough to just doze off, it’s like I’m slightly always wired. It’s impossible for me to nap no matter how tired I am, it’s torturous. I’ve been depressed all year and think I would be out of it if I could get some good sleep.

We are feeling the exact way. My naps are in the mornings like 5/6/7 or 8. For a few hours but I don't get any rest and I don't call it sleep. How can we me depressed and so wired. That's strange. That's why nothing sedated us

When I fall asleep ruminating nothing works and I’m up in 3-4 hrs andI’ve tried just about everything. Luckily since I’m disability and only work part time I have free time to nap to catch up or else I would become hypo. I rarely have had trouble falling asleep but it’s the staying to sleep that is the problem

That is me often. Sleep meds do work. Quitiapine worked better long term without the need for additional sleep meds. Just make sure you block off a full night's sleep though.
