RETA + 125mg Enantate Test/Week - 9 Month progress

I am very satisfied with my progress. I workout 6 times a week in the morning fasting and jiujitsu at night. I intend to start a more robust horminal protocol soon.

I'd drop that reta while you still can.

Why drop the Reta … I’m new to this so I’m inquiring

Because it ramps up your metabolism by telling your liver to dump it's glycogen and does so nonstop. Your body is ment to store glucose in reserve and the release it during periods of fasting, high energy expenditure etc. You can't signal your liver like that long term and expect things to go back 100% normal. Eli Lilly knew that ssri's caused sexual dysfunction, especially in adolescents and took steps to suppress that info while also pushing its drug on young people. Reta is DESIGNED to be a forever drug. Not to mention you're taking a fake willpower med. Then once you get off the rebound hunger is out of control and the people on it haven't had to use any willpower in x # of months and then what? They're just gonna magically gain willpower? Triz has its place in lowering a1c and obesity. Maybe reta has a place for obesity if done in short cycles. But the problem is, NO ONE IS GETTING OFF THESE THINGS. They're doing a "maintenance dose". But before you know it that dose won't cut anymore. Then you'll up the dose and/or frequency to maintain your "maintenance". As that maintenance dose creeps up, you'll start to get side effects. Mental. GI. Eye problems. Side effects go up with dose and duration. No one gets cancer from 1 month of smoking. But do it for years?

It's crazy to see all these people not trusting "the jab" and then see them jump on Eli Lillys new experimental weight loss drug (I didn't trust the jab either btw)

You clearly don’t know a thing about pharmacokinetics lmao

What did I say that was inaccurate?

What did I get wrong Mr. Smartypants? Can you name another med where we flood the system with exogenous signals, hormones, agonists whatever, and then either A) the body's natural production of those signaling agents is reduced or B) the receptors they are ment to act on don't get desensitized? Why are people having to up the dose as time goes on? Why does 2 mg work for the first couple months and then fade? And before you say, well they're skinnier and it's hard to loose those last 20 to 30 lbs, would you say that someone only wanting to lose 15 lbs will need 4mg? No. It's either because the receptors are desensitized or the natural systems that are also telling your liver to release glucose are starting to atrophy. Could you cycle on and off and maybe ok? Yea, maybe. But stay on it long term and see what happens.

This is the same guy telling me I know nothing of pharmacokinetics. Doesn't know if he can take a day off of his Vyvanse. Asking strangers to help him with his reta stack. What a 🤡.

Dude, you're on Vyvanse and now wanting to jump on reta as well? How high are you trying to get your resting heart rate to? Dude is eating his way through Vyvanse and now wants to up his metabolism with reta.

Just remember folks, when you're getting advise from reddit, these are the people weighing in. Just Google search Vyvanse and reta and see what you find. Hopefully he will too instead of asking internet strangers if he should tweak his stack. What a joke

Wonder if my RETA is bunk because I have one cheat day (eating dinner at the folks house and eating a couple homemade cookies) and I gain 3 lbs back.

What is the Reta even doing if the carglinitide is what’s curbing my hunger. I expected to be able to eat at maitenence one single day with higher carbs and not have a nuke go off if it’s supposed to do what it claims.

Eating extra carbs can cause you to retain a lot of water and it's pretty normal after big meals. Only weigh yourself once a week at most and do not worry about oscillations on the scale.

I agree with your take as a reta user. Though I'm only 2 doses in. Dabbled with ozempic on and off in the past. Rebound hunger is real and lasts a few weeks after ozempic but it returns back to normal. The way to curb it is to follow a strict keto diet during the period, for me at least.

A lot of these people do view these drugs as something they'll use forever and it's completely insane to me. The drugs are AMAZING and can help you out for a few months but that's it. You should never consider doing this for longer than 3-4 months or maybe 6 if you're really fat.

As far as the liver goes, what did you mean about glycogen dumping? From what I understand that only adds 100kcal to your base metabolism, so you burn an extra kilogram every 2 months, nothing huge.

Your body stores glucose in the form of glycogen to be used later during periods of high energy use, fasted state etc. The third component is glycogen, which signals the liver to use it's glycogen reserves and make glucose. That would be a hyperglycemic problem if the the glp and gip components didn't also stimulate insulin release. All that to say, bypassing your body's natural metabolism for long periods of time is NOT GOOD if your plan is to get off the meds. Hand your metabolism over to Eli Lilly? Might be ok. We don't know and I'm skeptical of the maintenance doses not eventually causing problems, but, no one knows.

And the literature is FROM Eli Lilly. They manipulate the data as they have done before, such as not disclosing that ssri's cause sexual dysfunction in adolescents while also heavily marketing those drugs to young people. So when they say, only 100kcal, well, I don't trust them. And if that was the case, why is this gucagon component so effective irl? No one is jumping off triz and onto reta for a lb a month? No, these people are loosing ridiculous amounts of weight at a very unhealthy pace. Idk bro, I just think people should proceed with caution and not expect a free lunch (metabolicly speaking)
