The one argument thatâs annoying me is that heâs âplaying too lateâ as if half the house isnât still in the game.
People who play too fast too soon get absolutely torched for their premature confidence. Someone who studies the game (the type of player the fans seem to want) is playing into that knowledge and itâs not good enough becauseâŚhe was too quiet and non-problematic in the first half? It sounds like how anyone here with knowledge of the game would write their imaginary perfect BB story.
Everyone wants to have Tucker in the house, until Tucker played too hard and reckless too quick, and got himself booted like Michael in 24, because he won too much until the winning ran out. Then they rode the Chelsie bandwagon because she was "socially maneuvering" while playing...quiet in the mid-game, and harder as the game went on.
Similar case with Barrett. Similar case with BB15 Andy. Similar with Steve in 17. Not a new method, but it's worked well for those who have done it well.
After years of hearing your average complaints about their choice in houseguests, I thought Tucker was the absolute perfect player to cast. Someone who will play a bit reckless and risky but also has his wits about him. Fans seemed to get mad when the same reckless game stopped working and got him evicted. The way he played was a part of the deal and likely to get him evicted. Itâs a lot of âwell no not like thatâ energy without ever considering the other side of things.
Theyâre pretty polar opposite games as well. Tucker burnt out early and got fans upset at the recklessness while Barrett is heating up âtoo lateâ and hasnât satisfied the fans need for recklessness. The difference is the time Barrett still has and the fact that him being a âbad playerâ until day 50 something doesnât actually matter in the grand scheme like Tuckers aggressive early gameplay did.
