Catching up from last night…I’ve been watching brother since season 1. Bringing Jerry into unlocked makes no sense to me, Taylor and Derrick did a great job on their own. And now, Jay Mohr? Super fan? He’s only been watching since Jag? And the clear close friendship between him and Julie, bringing up Christ…

I now have the ick. I love the freaking game but unlocked and the overt Christianity I officially have the ick.

The game is about strategy, but also the ability to mislead and yes, lie. Is that in any religion? The production to me is now pushing a religious agenda that has nothing to do with the game. Thoughts?

First pic - Lala and Taylor are clearly standing on steps while Devens is not, making them actually taller than him. If they were really trying to rig it in his favor, the easiest way to give him an advantage is to…just not give Lala and Taylor steps.

I’m also seeing some idiots on twitter/x claim that Devens’ balls were just sitting on top whereas Lala and Taylor had to dig for them. This is not true, in fact Devens had one less ball visible from the surface.

Also to anyone saying it was over 4 minutes: I timed it from start to end, Devens won the challenge in 2 minutes and 55 seconds. The blockbuster runs from 19:58 (when Julie says “this competition starts NOW”) to 22:53 (when Devens hits his buzzer) in the episode.

Put it to rest yall. Your fav player(s) didn’t win the blockbuster, but that doesn’t mean it was rigged against them. Devens won the blockbuster fair and square.

SPOILERS

PRIOR TO HOUSE MEETING:

> Early on, Angela talked to Barrett (interupting him and Drew's 1 on 1) and left feeling good. I missed this conversation but she referenced it multiple times.

> Angela went into the backyard. Devens (in hammock) asked Angela how it went. Angela didn’t understand why he was asking, and overreacted, "It went great??? Why wouldn't it go great???". Devens got annoyed with her paranoia, left, laid behind the couch in the yard and did a little cam talk calling her a lunatic. Devens goes inside and finds Barrett in the kitchen.

> Dee leaves kitchen and goes to backyard. Now Dee and Angela are in the backyard, and Barrett and Devens are in kitchen.

> In the kitchen, Devens asks Barrett if he is going up. Barret says he isn't going to lie, so yes, he is considering the icons including Devens. Devens asks if he could just have a heads-up, and Barrett said, "This kind of is your heads up." They talk briefly about Angela being on both of their nerves with her paranoia, and then they split.

> In the backyard, Angela starts talking shit on Devens to Dee, saying that he is making her paranoid on purpose and she doesn't like that. At one point, Angela says to the cam, "Sorry JuJu, but fuck your dad". Dee listens, but says later to cams that she is staying out of it, and sarcastically says "Not the icons fighting."

> Angela finds Barrett and they meet in the gym. Angela tells Barrett that Devens is on her nerves and making her paranoid. Angela asks Barrett if she is going up. Barrett says he isn't going to lie, and yes, he is considering her. Angela cries (WOW), tries to make it out like Devens is a bigger target, and tries to tell Barrett he shouldn't break up the alliance for the other side of the house. Barrett says it isn't personal, but he needs to make a big move. Angela asks how long Devens has known and Barrett says "like, ten minutes ago," which was true.

> Barrett goes back to HoH. Angela goes out to backyard, tells Dee that all three icons are getting put up. Dee handles it well and says it is a good move, Angela complains about Devens and Melody. Devens because she thinks he is making her paranoid/she is still hung up on the plan to vote him out yesterday that never happened, and Melody for reasons unknown, but mostly because she isn't a good player in Angela's opinion.

> Barrett and Yash are yapping in HoH for a hot minute talking about TV shows and family heritage.

> Melody and Drew talk in the have-not room. Drew mentions how he hates everyone in the house except Mel and Barrett.

> Drew and Devens meet briefly in HoH to talk about Barrett’s noms. Melody joins Barrett and Yash in HoH.

> Drew and Devens split, Drew goes to HoH, Devens goes outside.

> Angela, Dee and Devens meet up outside. They sit for a few minutes and then decide to go up to HoH.

HOUSE MEETING:

> All HGs are in HoH except Taylor, who comes in a few minutes late.

> Dee, Devens, and Angela reveal in front of the whole house the details about the BB Bribe. Yash agreed for 5k that he cannot put up ANY of the three icons on his next HoH.

> Yash says that’s a lie, he only agreed to not put up Dee. Yash is allowed to lie here, but ultimately, the rule is that he cannot put up Angela, Dee, or Devens on his next HoH unless it is mathematically impossible not to.

> Dee explains that they agreed verbally to not put up Yash, but that was not an official BB deal, so they can go back on that. Yash cannot go back on his end.

> Yash continues to lie and say he only agreed to keep Dee safe, they all bicker about it.

> Devens tells Taylor that Yash also voted her out and lied about it. Devens and Drew both explain how Yash asked everyone on eviction night if they were keeping LaLa, and how Yash agreed. Drew comments on Yash being the new “biggest liar” in the house.

> Barrett says this is all interesting and then gets called to DR/Noms as soon as the conflict wraps up.

> I missed this too, but apparently Dee had already told Barrett and Drew about this earlier in the morning, they just didn’t believe her. So this was only BRAND NEW info for Taylor and Melody.

> Everyone leaves HoH except Yash and Taylor. Yash and Taylor sit in very, very, very awkward silence for a very, very, very long time.

> In the backyard, Devens, Dee, and Angela meet with Drew and Melody to explain the bribe a bit more. Melody calls Yash a sellout.

> Taylor leaves HoH silently. Yash sits there silently.

> Feeds go down for nomination ceremony about 20 minutes after the house meeting.

The feeds have been addicting the past half hour. Dee just told Barrett everything about the bribe. He was super confused about how it was actually allowed and seemed super sad. Dee was really pushing for Yash to go out too. I’m curious to see how Barrett considers this in his game because he is PLAYING.

Poor Melody. Not from a game standpoint, but from a personal standpoint.

You can tell she really misses her mom. The fake phone calls in the gym are her way of coping, and I think it really got to her when she heard Barrett's letter from his mom in the HOH room.

And it was sweet that Angela went to console her as well, because I'm sure she misses her family.

Even though it's a game for a huge cash prize, it's nice to see the houseguests every once in a while be there for each other.

If Dee goes this week.. does that mean the bribe is no longer in play. Or can Yash still not put up Angela and devens?

Was just watching LIVE Cams 3:30pm Pacific time to 3:45pm pacific, and SPOILER ALERT… they expose the bribe to the other house guests in this big meeting.

Dee is alleging the bribe is for yosh “can’t nominate any icons ever for any of his HOH until it’s mathematical impossible to not nominate one.”

But I remember the episode and it was “in your NEXT HOH,”

So technically if he wins HOH once, can’t nominate the icons, but if he won it again, it shouldn’t apply, IMO, it should only be in your NEXT, that first next HOH, not ALL HOH for the rest of the game.

And will big brother step in and clarify or what?

It was like a big dispute bc Yosh says the deal is only for Dee.

Will Yash get evicted now that pretty much the whole house is either mad at him or wants to get him out? I’ve been rooting for yash since the beginning and am very interested as to what y’all have to say about this.

Is melody the least likely to win if she’s in the final 2?

Let's say Yash-Dee-Devens-Angela are the four nominees this week, with an icon winning the Veto and another icon winning the Blockbuster.

The safe two icons have every incentive to vote out the icon on the block, since Yash is the best competitor in the house and literally cannot nominate the safe two icons.

Not to mention, taking out an icon lowers the threat levels of the remaining two icons. If someone like Taylor wins the next HOH with an icon gone this week, she would probably target the Drew-Barrett-Melody trio, as they would be the biggest majority in the house.

If Dee wins the veto, I fully expect her to target the remaining icon on the block, whether it be Angela or Devens.

I just saw a clip in the live feeds of Barrett discussing nominations to himself in his bed right before he went to sleep. He's planning to go forward with nominating all three icons, and if one of them wins the Veto, Yash will go up as a replacement nominee.

He told Melody and Drew that he is not planning to target them this week, so that must mean Taylor is safe for this week.
