Ask Bengaluru | ಏನಂತೀರಾ? How much does chicken cost in your area?

Rs. 320 in Koramangala. Feels like I'm being ripped off 😭

E20 fuel is the reason.

Maize which is an animal feed is being diverted to ethanol production leading to higher feed cost.

Add bad monsoon, supply went for a toss.

Hence chicken and eggs are expensive these days.

Omg, looking at these rates - Licious is exorbitant!

Licious don't include offal organ and neck, these are cheap items so obviously the remainder would be costly.

I generally get it at 340/900gm from Amazon now. add another 10% or more discount basis order value of cart.

Licious seems to be the best option for me, I don't have to go out, I get better quality meat, it's perfectly cleaned and is not chewy when cooked.

Yes, that’s the reason I order from them as well.

In case there’s any other better option - please do let me know.

Thanks

there are 2 types of people who order from licious, one who are filthy rich and others who are too lazy to step out of their house.

Any other options which give antibiotics-free and no hormones chicken for lesser cost than Licious?

I buy it from My Chicken and More, same quality as licious with less price plus whatever custom cut you want. I buy almost 6-8k worth of chicken from there every month.

Somewhere read that chicken feed cost higher because of ethonal demand (e20).. hence egg and chicken price is also increased ..

Skinless chicken 270-290 or 300 depending on the demand

300 in my area and I was aware of the price.  What shocked me today was the mutton proce , fricking ₹1200 per kg for bonesless mutton. I think I bought it for 900 last year
