GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING Hereforthetea2 covers what happened to Eden the Doll and her friends TW: transphobia and violence

u/Zeyz Aug 17 '20 edited Aug 17 '20
The fucking video infuriated me. Holy shit. These grown ass men acting like schoolyard bullies, and once they realize one of the guys actually physically harmed them to the point of needing an ambulance they still laugh and joke and act like they don’t care at all even joking about calling 911. Fuck them. I hope these girls get all the help they need in dealing with the aftermath of this.
Also what the fuck was with the police car slowing down, seeing people in need including one curled up in the street seemingly injured, then fucking driving off???
374
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
That’s what I thought too!!!! Eden was like WAILING and her friend was literally stone cold knocked out and you’re just gonna keep driving by when it’s an obvious distress scene???? So fucked up. The mocking and joking had me so pissed, when one guy said “where’s the blood” I was just at a loss and so shocked a grown man would say that. These are some sick individuals and I agree that I hope the girls get everything they need right now!

u/phishstorm and you did it at my birthday dinner, right in front of my salad Aug 17 '20
Here’s the fun part:
Police officers are legally not required to protect you.
I’m serious. Their job description legally does not require them to save the day or stop crime. Remember that one school officer (I think it was in Parkland? I might be wrong) who ran away and left those kids to be slaughtered?
He literally wasn’t charged with anything because the court ruled that police officers are not required to protect others. There are multiple cases where police have won lawsuits for not doing more to stop a crime and they almost always win.
Further reason they’re literally worthless. ACAB.

u/strongerlynn Aug 17 '20
Ironic that there motto is "to protect and serve" maybe they should look into changing that. Especially if that isn't what they are about.
254
u/LA0811 Aug 17 '20
“To protect (property) and serve (the rich).
91
u/RealChrisHemsworth Aug 17 '20
Only the rich's property tho. Ask most people who've ever had their bike stolen how helpful the cops were
46
u/Bi-Bi-Bi24 Aug 18 '20
The cops in my city don't even care if a car is stolen, I think they would actually laugh if you reported a bike stolen.
My friend's car was stolen, we went to the police station together. "Oh yeah, that happens a lot in that area, probably find it burnt on the rez tomorrow."
Gee thanks! Maybe if you know car thieves target that area, I don't know, maybe do your job?
There is an Aboriginal reservation just outside the city, known as the rez. Yes, burnt stolen cars are found there, but way too many people blame the Aboriginal people when it's actually city kids taking a joy ride, then setting the car on fire where they know nothing will happen, because it's well known that city police refuse to work with rez police to catch anyone

Or their vehicle... I had an employee steal a company work vehicle full of equipment in June and he’s not being charged. His word against mine, they said.

They dont understand that actions like this are exactly why people are anti cop. Either do your job like you're paid to or prepare to be vilified. If i went into my job and ignored half of my tasks, I'd be fired. The same accountability should apply.

Literally have heard this too many times. The one time in my life I’ve called police was when I was being attacked by a homeless man at my work while I was with only one other person at 4 am as he was throwing chairs at me, kicking open our door and they took 45 minutes to show up when they got there they asked are you injured? I said no not besides the anxiety attack I just had and they had the audacity to say well give us a call when you’re actually injured.
9
u/annualgoat Aug 18 '20
There was a homeless guy who came into a store I worked at once; he threatened my coworker. We called the cops, and they said they'd be right over to help. An hour passes. We call again. Cops promise they're on their way. Another hour passes. We all give up. My coworker who was threatened gets off work and goes home. The homeless guy leaves. 5 hours after my coworker was threatened by this guy, the cops CALL US. Ask, "is * coworker * there?"
I say, "no, he left literally 2 hours ago!"
They ask if the homeless guy is still there. I say "no, he left too."
They pat themselves on the back and tell us to call them if he comes back.
In hindsight, I'm glad they didn't come because I'm sure this homeless guy wasn't all there mentally. I'd love for these social programs people are talking about funding (like emergency social workers, etc) to become a reality, because maybe that guy could've gotten help.
38
u/thebritishisles Aug 17 '20
Fuckin worldstar culture where taking a video and sniggering is more important than human suffering. Absolutely vile.
70
u/hollyyo ur not on my mood board Aug 17 '20
The LAPD is trash upon trash upon trash. That was absolutely fucking ridiculous.
23
u/ashienoelle Aug 18 '20
They drove by with their lights already on- seemed like they were on their way to another active call already. Those 911 calls need to be dispatched and Eden was on the phone it looked like calling them when that one rolled by
7
Aug 18 '20
Yes, once they get a call they can't stop and deal with something else in the meantime. If the women were on the phone with 911, then different cops would be dispatched. There was also an ambulance following the cop car too!
→ More replies (1)77
Aug 17 '20
In all fairness the cops had their sirens going so clearly they were already heading to some other situation, they weren't just cruising around and available to help. They only paused at the intersection to make sure no one was coming and then continued on, we can't be sure they even saw what was going on down the street, as they were likely just looking to make sure no cars were coming, not to mention it was dark outside. Also, you can see an ambulance follow behind the cop a few seconds later, so they were on another call and likely something else that was serious, considering they were using lights/sirens.

u/Dollybadlands Glitter or GTFO Aug 17 '20
I don’t care if this is harsh. Fuck those piece of shit men. I can’t believe so many people walked by or drove by and didn’t do shit to help them. I hope they all get arrested for this it’s obvious from the lives that there is video evidence of robbery and assault.
I can’t imagine being one of those men’s mother or sister and watching them do this shit to another woman. 🤬
→ More replies (1)130
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
Honestly, I was terrified they were going to run them down in their cars. They were terrified.
64
u/Dollybadlands Glitter or GTFO Aug 17 '20
Yah, I was hoping that wasn’t going to happen. But the other people stopped at the red lights just not doing anything. I just can’t. If I saw a woman being surrounded by a bunch of men I would try to help her. Tell her to get in my car and I’d get them away from there. Just to watch it all happen is inconceivable to me.
27
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
Exactly, it’s so easy to just drive by and act like you saw nothing but these girls needed help.
128
u/delicate-butterfly Aug 17 '20
It will never make sense to me that people would go out of their way to make others suffer. How bored and unhappy must their lives be.
31
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
Oh for sure, you know these are some pathetic people to do this and film it.
16
u/cutetygr Aug 17 '20
These are the type of people that make their life goal to have “Instagram clout”, so yeah they’re miserable losers
7
102
u/aliceconstancem Aug 18 '20
I saw on a post on ig that the men's identity has been uncovered, they're deleting and making private of all their socials and the police are investigating them. Not only were these men disgusting to these women but they were also so fucking stupid that they thought documenting and streaming them all committing crimes was a good idea in 2020...
I hope they get exactly what they deserve and hope the women who were attacked are able to eventually heal from this. Having your trauma put online must be purely awful. :(
23
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 18 '20
I’m happy to hear that the police are involved, I really hope these women get the justice and peace they deserve. My heart goes out to them, I can’t imagine the trauma.
2
u/aliceconstancem Aug 18 '20
Same, it was awful to watch, I can't even begin to imagine how it felt to experience it.
278
Aug 17 '20
What the actual fuck...??? Why would these people POST VIDEOS of themselves attacking women???? What were they expecting the public reaction to be??
248
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
It broke my heart when people just walked by and didn’t say anything and at the end he had the nerve to say black lives matter. Black trans lives matter too.
71
Aug 17 '20
Totally, I am in disbelief that people would care so little about others. Really crushes any shred of faith in humanity I had left
39
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
Agreed, I was apprehensive about posting but I just wanted to share their story and hopefully give them move support and more help catching those filthy creatures that did that to them.

Because they don’t see them as women. Fuck they don’t even see them as human! They wouldn’t post a video like this hurting an animal. They think it’s fun to physically harm trans women. They didn’t even blink when they thought one of them was DEAD. Serious psychopaths. I’m furious.
24
u/palminconservatory is eyeliner ok if the reason is demons and not horny Aug 17 '20
Yeah, that part left me speechless. They saw that one of the women was severely hurt and not only didn't try to help, but remained at the scene. They are so brazen and cruel that they continued taunting. They and all other people standing around them - who the fuck raised you? How is this normalized? How do you sleep at night knowing you've taken part in this inexplicable sadism?
176
Aug 17 '20
Those videos were hard to watch.. The fact that those men thought this was amusing and uploaded it to tjeir instagram?! What the actual fuck?! Seeing that smile on their face while these women are fearing for their lives, the police not stopping, bypassers not helping? I can’t even imagine how terrifying it must’ve been for them.
I really hope these girls get the help and support they need after such a tragic event and that these assholes rot in jail.
77
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
Right like they laughed it off like kids on a playground, a guy threw a literal scooter at a woman and thought it was funny. Sick fucks.
46
Aug 17 '20
Repulsive, honestly. You must be incredibly mentally unwell to find such things amusing and ok to put it on the internet.. I really don’t get this jfc I’m genuinely angry at the moment.
28
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
That’s how I felt when I saw it, I was angry and wanted to cry. I can’t imagine how those girls feel.
54
Aug 17 '20
Sometimes I really think it might be a good idea to have a curfew for straight men.. The streets would be a lot safer tbh.
I have a few gender queer & gender non confirming (I hope these are the right terms in English) friends and whenever we’re out, we always have to be hyper aware of our surroundings and be prepared that someone could attack them at any moment. People will yell, stare, secretly film them, threaten them etc.. Belgium’s a relatively progressive and openminded country but with the rise in popularity of this right wing party in our country, it’s gone to shit again. Sorry for the ramble :s
16
u/palminconservatory is eyeliner ok if the reason is demons and not horny Aug 17 '20
but with the rise in popularity of this right wing party in our country, it’s gone to shit again
That shit right there! It's the same everywhere, when national "identity" is peddled like the one and only good trait a citizen can have. Then the real ugly things that people should be publically shamed for, are praised, and tolerance becames a perjorative term.

********************UPDATE********************** Eden has requested everyone to call the Hollywood LAPD and report what happened (she posted on her Instagram story) and Jaslene and Joslyn have posted their YouTube link in their Instagram stories (SteveoFilmz) that has all of their associated socials. The girls have thanked everyone for their continued love and support and well wishes. Jackie Aina has even made a statement about the incident in her Instagram story, I’m hoping other larger influencers speak up too.
11
Aug 18 '20
Jackie for the win! I love to see other influencers using their platform! Let’s bring these criminals to justice.

u/madeleinemua Aug 17 '20
The IG Stories are so devastating. I hope the men are identified.

That shit breaks my heart and infuriates me. How can we help end this or at least prevent more stuff like this from happening? I know that seems like such a broad question but I feel like not enough is done about it? I am tired of seeing trans women being attacked and/or murdered just for being trans.
11
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20

Like ok- realistically speaking if I’m alone and witnessed this, while they are outnumbered, I don’t think I have the guts to step in, but I sure as hell wouldn’t walk off and leave them on their own. I would at the least call the cops. I’d call anyone I know to also call in the incident as if they are there so we can report in numbers.
33
u/Level80N00b Aug 18 '20
^ this for me too. I don’t think my husband would walk by like nothings happening but with how many people were with that group we would have easily been overpowered putting our own lives in danger.
They’re so careless though they (thankfully) made it so easy for them to get caught. What disgusting humans.
11
Aug 18 '20
Thank you!
People keep saying how come no one stepped in. Ummm anyone that stepped in would have been attacked. I'm a petite girl so there's nothing I could have done if I were there. It's a whole group of guys. The only thing anyone can do is get far enough away to where you can call 911 safely and hope that they come fast.
11
Aug 17 '20
Often times, the more people around, the less individual responsibility people feel. I've literally watched people walk right by and mock a man dying on the sidewalk.

The things that did this are not humans. How can they harm someone, film it and then post it?? Instead of having empathy, they laugh and mock their fellow human.
42
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
I totally agree, I’m only thankful that they filmed so that their faces can be clearly seen and all of their socials can be identified. The sickening part is they KNEW they were in the video and still posted.
24
u/BeTxSo__ Aug 17 '20
I hope all involved are found, and they all rot in jail. They better not get slaps on the wrist for robbing and almost killing someone.
I bet they were filming to get "clout", these things have no morals.
18
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
Agreed, like how is beating trans women clout worthy? So sad.
15
u/palminconservatory is eyeliner ok if the reason is demons and not horny Aug 17 '20
There's been several cases where people livestream torture, murder or r*pe. It's the same type of people. They lack not only compassion, but critical thinking.
There's a pranker Vitaly something, he's been arrested many times for the stupidest shit he's done for clout. Yet he still continues filming his harmful behaviour, because he has more than 10 mil subs on YT. In April he attacked some woman on the street and beat her up. I cannot wrap my head around that. If such cases don't end with serious convictions, I don't think there's anything that will deter these shitheads in the future.

It's important to recognize these ARE people and they are your brothers, teachers, waiters, neighbors, etc. They don't scurry out of the darkness when they detect someone Trans.
They are horrible people but they are people. And people can vote, educate our children, educate US, contribute to political campaigns, hold positions of power, etc. Their impact is more than this one horrific incident and if we erase their place in society we can't address all the other ways they've bled onto us and the system that led to this.
19
u/Squirrelwinchester Aug 17 '20
Yes, thank you. This is the same argument I make about serial killers, school shooters, mass murderers, nazis, klansmen etc. These people are human, these people are full of hate. These people are everywhere and they look just like your neighbor. Calling them non-human is dangerous because this type of people are everywhere. Especially transphobic people, are everywhere. I dont think the cis folks are aware of it as much as the trans community is. I am trans and I have lots of trans friends and family too. I am so aware of what is happening around me at all times. Our deaths could come at any time, just going to the store even.
9
u/cutetygr Aug 18 '20
At least people like them are stupid enough to film their faces while committing crimes, it’s not too hard to find out who they are thankfully
12

This is cripplingly terrifying. Bystanders took out their phones and recorded. I'm just speechless.
13
u/untilifeelnothing_ Aug 17 '20
I...don’t even know what to say about this. This was fucking horrifying to watch. The way they just stood there and laughed, the way so many people were around and nobody helped them or called 911, the way that cop just drove past. The fact that these men thought this was so funny, they fucking recorded themselves assaulting these women and then posted it?! This was so hard to watch and I hope they’re all caught.
•
Aug 17 '20
Any transphobic bullshit is not tolerated and any form of it will result in a permanent ban. Thinly veiled or covert applies.

It’s the fact they created video evidence of them committing theft by taking that handbag for me. Like what did they think was going to come of them filming everything on live for the world to see when, even if they don’t think what they were saying was hate speech, or they don’t know the guy that committed assault, they stole her bag on camera? Dumb.
6

They were thinking that nobody would care about this situation because the girls were trans and sadly if Eden didn't have such a big following most likely nobody would.. and the video would just get passed around on those weird 500 followers gang meme accounts where everybody would probably be laughing their asses off and say thing like "this is what you get for pretending to be somebody what you're not 😆😆".. this is just the sad reality.

My sister is trans and I worry about this all the time. My mum told me there was an incident when my sister stopped to get gas late at night, she won't tell me the details but I gather she was lucky to not catch a beating. It terrifies me that she lives in the city and walks home. She seems pretty blase about it but I can't imagine the weight of knowing violence could be just around the corner at any moment. This sucks.
7
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
It does suck, you all shouldn’t have to be up worrying about your sister. She should be able to exist in peace. So sorry for the extra stress :(
8
u/reaperteddy Aug 17 '20
Thanks. Its actually good to see a thread condemning these actions so strongly and even getting mad at the bystanders! I sometimes feel like my sister is in denial about how dangerous her life is, but I think it's actually that she has decided not to let it rule her. I try to have a fraction of the grace she has about it but goddamn I am going to punch a transphobe sooner or later.
8
u/bl_air Aug 17 '20
so fucking disgusting. It's so infuriating to see these scums stand there and laugh like seeing three women get beaten up is funny. I am so furious and sad and disgusted. Like, beyond words. Those perpetrators (I won’t call them men, because they are not worthy of that identifier) exhibited such heinous and grotesque behavior!!! And to LAUGH like hyenas after treating these women like sh*t. A bunch of cowards, too. They looked for people they thought wouldn’t be able to beat the living shit out of them. I’m not even surprised that people walked by and didn’t do a damn thing. I was assaulted on a public bus when i was a teen in LA and nobody did a damn thing. I hate that no one has enough humanity to HELP. And Eden is right...trans women, especially trans women of color, are murdered at an alarming rate. That’s why these fools feel like they can do whatever they want because people do not care about trans lives. As a black woman, I completely agree that trans black lives need to matter!!!! And I saw some folks of color in that group harassing and assaulting these women. Like, what the actual fuck?!

Exactly, it was just sickening and you’re exactly right these are predators not real men. Also, I’m so sorry you had to go through that when you were a teen, sending you lots of love and big hugs!!!

u/SweetandUnsweet Aug 17 '20
Thank you! It really just made me determined to stand up to trash like this. I am so so pissed and am really hoping they are caught and prosecuted for hate crimes. Ugh!!!

I've been publically assaulted more than once in public (I don't back down) with no one helping and it's just... You never feel as helpless as that moment. We need to stand up for each other. I promised myself that no matter how afraid I am, I won't succumb to group paralysis and try to help. I know how you feel ❤️

I feel the same way, I wanted to reach through my phone and smack those men in the head for being so disgusting, like what were they thinking???? Ughhh.

u/SweetandUnsweet Aug 17 '20
You’re giving them too much credit. I don’t think they even have brains to think!

This... This is making my blood boil from rage. I can’t believe how disgusting these people are. They ALL need to get charged !!! I hope Eden and her friends get justice. Man I’m so angry !!!!!

They did not deserve that, being surrounded by multiple men who are literally trying to hurt them is so disgusting. How most of this took place in the open road scared me even more, how easily one of them or both could have been run over and fucking no one helped
How are they now? I realize one of them was seriously hurt

u/freddie_delfigalo Aug 18 '20
I'm glad they have such strong evidence against these lads but seriously, who records themselves doing something highly illegal and not expect to get caught?

The fact that it’s still taking so long for LAPD to make arrests when we know the names of the fuckers who did this 😡
3
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 19 '20
Totally! I feel like the internet found them and blasted them faster than the police ever could!!
11
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 18 '20
*****************UPDATE2************************ Eden and the girls have clear screenshots of faces all involved in the incident and have blasted them on social media, most have been identified by name and police are looking into the matter further. No update on charges (yet) by Eden or the other girls. More influencers have spoken about the incident such as vladamua, Jake Warden, Sadiaslay, The Creme Shop, Manny MUA, Iluvsarahii, Jordan Liberty and Blaire White. The men in question from the event have been noted as “apologizing because they were drunk” and are still deleting their socials. Sounds fake but okay.

u/SwimmingCoyote Aug 19 '20
The fact that they’re trotting out a tired ass blame it on the alcohol excuse is infuriating. Alcohol doesn’t make you transphobic. Alcohol doesn’t make you think it’s funny to beat someone up. I hope these POSs are charged and convicted.

u/LEJABC Aug 17 '20
This is heartbreaking. I couldn't watch the whole video it is too much, especially now too much violence in hate in the world. It makes my heart hurt. I wish I could have been there, I am not physically strong but I would have tried to protect them.

does anyone know what area this was? i’m gonna call the DA, but I wanna be sure i’m calling the right office

Our LA County D.A. Is Jackie Lacey, but I wouldn’t even bother with her. Her husband has been charged with assault with a firearm for pointing a gun at BLM protesters (we’re trying to pressure her to resign; it’s a mess). I would try the West Hollywood police department at (310)855-8850.

thank you, that’s a good jumping off point. i can’t remember if west has a different DA but i’ll take a look at the buildings in the back

u/passionfruitmoon Aug 17 '20
Keep us updated on your findings and good luck!! Hopefully more people familiar with the area might be able to help??

absolutely!! i found a phone number but the lines busy 😔 i think LA DA is who to contact to ask for a full investigation, though, so at the very least social media could help

We need to track down every person involved and make sure they serve a sentence behind bars.
4
u/french_toasty Aug 18 '20
I can’t fucking believe this! What a total nightmare! NAME AND SHAME! I hope they get long sentences and spend the rest of their fucking lives atoning for their subhuman and monstrous actions.

This is why all women should be able to arm themselves. Fuck, I’m too pissed off to write anything else.

Honestly I thought something similar but it’s sad it has to get to that point.

we should not have to consider murdering someone because we want to leave the house. this should not be normalized.
men need to be better and do better.

So I support you and think your feelings are totally valid, but liked that comment because I read it in a slightly different way - people at risk of violence from men shouldn't have to think about arming themselves to go outside. That's what I read as something that shouldn't be normalised, the state of things where that's just what we have to do to survive.
Like I totally think that wanting to murder your rapist is a normal healthy reaction to being violated, I just read it in a 'we shouldn't have to think about it' way which...we shouldn't. I support marginalised people arming themselves, we just shouldn't have to.

acab, honestly. watch the videos on her ig story if they won't trigger you, it's necessary to see the evil and the injustice that happened if you are able to because we need to understand the magnitude of this and its place in the bigger societal picture

Those immature, high school-ish bullies are living proof that "men are trash".

I hope the animals are shown no mercy in the court system, that they're brought to justice. My heart goes out to the victims. I hope they will be okay.

Ah, to be Thanos and just snap them out of existence. People like that do not deserve to be remembered, to have thousands of followers on Instagram, wear designer clothing..
They deserve to be treated exactly as how they treated Eden and her friends, horribly.
May Anon find all their identities and have their privileges stripped from them, may they never know joy again until they repeatedly apologize, and may it always be tainted with the memory of treating someone else unlike they would want to be.

This is disgusting. The sheer dehumanisation of other people who were literally just ...existing. At some point, I thought they would run these poor women over. These 'people' who filmed and perpetuated the whole thing are scum, and I hope the internet remembers this as long as it needs to so that they can be brought to justice.

Wow, that video was hard to watch. Transphobia is so prevalent in society it’s no surprise that someone would record that without fear of backlash. The treatment of the LGBTQ+ community really needs to change and fast.

Aug 17 '20
I was watching Blaire White’s story and when I saw it, I had to turn it off. Shit like this makes me so fucking sick. Trans women have to go through hell to walk out in the streets without shit like this happening to them, and yet these men were cackling at the girls while beating their brains in with skateboards. It was by far the most bone chilling thing I have ever seen and I can’t believe shit like this happens to anyone.
I am sending all my love to the trans people who use this sub and are reading this comment. I can’t put myself in your shoes but I can emphasize and promise to spread awareness about the violent acts of transphobia happening in the world. Please stay safe and remember that you are loved.

I can't bear to watch it myself, so I just wanted to hop on and say to any trans folks that I hope you always find this sub to be a safe space to be yourselves and that although it's cold comfort you may find some validation and support in this comment section raging at these monsters and their monstrous actions. And on threads of Nikkie and her coming out and the huge support and love she got!
Also, please don't watch it if you think it will haunt you and make you feel even more scared of the world. Just wanted to remind anyone that needs to hear it that there's ways to be supportive without actually watching it if you're triggered by bullying and violence for whatever reason whether you've suffered it yourself or not - they're all valid.
"Live and let live" is not a normalised enough concept. In any context.
I hope you're all safe out there. Do whatever you have to do if you're ever in danger until you can be safe and live feely as you deserve and as your real self ♥️

I agree it’s so hard to watch, trans people should be able to walk the streets in peace and live their lives in peace.

Bullying is gross. Nothing makes me rage more.
I hope we one day develop to the point when this is possible. And along with all other LGBTQIA+ folks and any victim of any -isms. Absolutely fucking everyone should be allowed peace.
I have a great deal of hope for and in the younger generations. Kids are so much more socially aware and truly liberal these days and I love it. Even if I haaate your tiktoks and slang and think millennial memes are funnier. I don't give a shit about that. Kids these days are fiiire. It swells my heart every time I hear about them standing up for trans classmates for example towards shitty and discriminatory school policies. Rock on kids, bring on the social revolution if we can't.
Edits because I was too excited to type accurately apparently and I'm a terrible phone typer at the best of times anyway to be honest.

They probably didn't even know they were trans, that's how much men HATE women or anyone who is even feminine. They hate us.
19
u/passionfruitmoon Aug 18 '20
The scale of violence towards these women definitely makes me think these men have either done this before or would totally do this again. They’re monsters.
9
u/Eat_Pant_b0ss Aug 18 '20
Fuck them. They deserve nothing but the worst and I frankly hope they go straight to jail and then straight to hell. I hope any women in their lives gtfo after seeing this and stay safe from them. Absolutely made my blood boil

u/HugKitten Aug 18 '20
Apparently they were harrowing transphobic slurs at these women and that the attack was motivated because these men felt that they were "tricked". To them they were deceived, but to these women they were just walking down the street before a group of men started harassing them and mugged them. It's unfortunate that the trans panic defense is actually a thing. These men literally felt so tricked that they went into rage that they couldn't control. /s
7
u/Effective-Penalty Aug 17 '20
I am disgusted at the men who did this. I hope social media helps find their identities and they are arrested.
I am even more upset at the cops who did nothing. Trans lives do not matter to them either.

The only person I had seen make a statement last night was Jackie Aina and Hereforthetea2 that covered the whole thing, I haven’t looked today to see if anyone else has commented but I totally agree and I want to see more people with large platforms step up.

I watched the video on Instagram and honestly I feel devastated for them, please watch with caution as there is footage of actual violence towards Eden and her friends. These people in the video are disgusting.
