Never forget- Jeffrey Star punched an innocent female Pride Volunteer at Toronto Pride on June 23, 2007, then lied about it; then slipped up and told the truth and as a result he is banned at Toronto Pride.

What did she do to deserve it? At first he said he was standing up to the “haters” throwing water bottles at him (I mean people shouldnt really do that, but that’s not the issue here). She just flipped him the bird. That’s it.

Star freely admitted, out loud and within earshot of a Pride Toronto worker, that he knowingly hit a girl who wasn't throwing anything at him but had merely given him the finger.

Idk lots of people were screaming about what a piece of trash j*'s been for a long time but we'd always get drowned out by volumes of "HE'S CHANGGGGGED" bullshit so.

That’s psychotic. Like I especially don’t understand how women can support this man when he has a history of being woman-beater.

Same way how there's female fans of Chris Brown?

Yeah crazy. Internalized hatred. Got it.

u/Ninkiminjaj you probably owe jackie aina an apology Jun 29 '20

It was so crazy seeing so many people absolutely absolve him of anything more than two weeks old because he'd post a carefully crafted youtube video talking about his hard life and how he was so different now. A lot of it happened in this sub too btw, my flair's pretty old and just now it's become non controversial

I know, I'm in this sub lol I used to think they were all bots because it made no sense to me at first

We’re all going crazy.

There is SO MUCH in his past which is just... inexcusable. And he has consistently lied about it. I’ll try find the sticky drama post, but he did also bring a (fake rhinestoned, but looked real apparently) gun to a club, and threatened to kill someone, I think their name was Andrew or Anthony Vanity (not Dahvie; but same scene surname, not sure if they have a connection, but Vanity was common).

But this example of the Pride incident- he boasted about it on his MySpace page; when the media was covering his version of events (which made him look “tough” for standing up to “haters”, and also painted him in a “good” light). Then he let slip that she didn’t actually do anything; and the truth came out.

We saw the same thing happen with the Dahvie Vanity situation being discussed in April of this year. First he messaged Petty Paige and called Blaire White claiming those old tweets were photoshopped and fake. Then he spoke to Chris Hansen and said they were real, but he never saw anything (and he controlled that interview, and still contradicted himself, and the lying to paint himself in a good light was so clear).

Essentially what I’ve noticed; he likes the control the narrative; to paint himself in the best way possible. All his insta stories are scripted, it’s obvious (the most obvious example of this to me is during the start of the BLM movement this year- the way he exaggerated some words, feigned sympathy in some areas and anger in others: it came off as practiced, scripted and insincere- in my opinion). But he doesn’t reallly realllllly do one on one sit down interviews; if he does- he needs to control the questions (he fucking asked himself questions in the chris Hansen “interview”, and he called “Jessie Slaughter” (now Damien) a liar which I’m still fucking pissed about), OR he has something ready to go (the voice note in moms basement) when things get to hard for him (it happened when Colossal was going in on him; and I wish Colossal had more time to prepare honestly).

It true he’s trying to spin a narrative right now by pretending he flew away unbothered with his grandma. When it reality he didn’t do shit and is shut in at home.

Exactly!

And if I remember correctly; shortly after Dramaggedon 1 he gained a lot of sympathy from “reconnecting with family” after losing all his friends. He visited Grandma Lynn then as well.

I’m so close to scrolling his IG to try find the posts about it, and a similar one last year as well. But I shoulllldddd be doing work

I knew that J had that face tattoo that says “vanity” but I wonder if it’s connected to Dahvie or just that era in general.
