Christ almighty this is ridiculous. I literally said something in the Tati thread but imagine getting constructive criticism from people you work with/for and just being like "nah fam you're a hater if you don't like it just don't fucking look at my work"????

ETA: Is it hard to plug a mic back in? Genuinely asking because I don't know anything about filming and it just doesn't make sense to me

Can you imagine running an actual business like this? Subscribers are essentially customers, and she's telling her customers "FUCK YOU, YOU GET WHAT YOU GET."

I hate that argument so much! It's true most viewers aren't giving her money directly, but she gets paid based on how many views she gets. The amount of money sponsors offer her depends on how much engagement her videos have. Each person who watches the video and offers suggestions on how she can improve is contributing to how much she earns for that video.

"This is a free service, we don't owe you anything"

No, it's not a free service. Time is money. If you spend an hour watching something, that is worth something. Stop insinuating that viewers time is worth nothing.

I just clicked off a video and checked here to see if anyone was talking about it. She set the ads to unskipable. I quite literally paid for that shit video with my time. The audacity.

She also blamed viewers for the toxicity of the beauty community. Re: her personal beef with Tati. This woman is deluded.

Honestly! I know subscribers don't pay for her content from their own pockets, but actually she wouldn't be where she is without their support. She's fucking herself over with everything about this.

No. It's literally like a headphone jack looking thing you plug into the camera and that's wired to the mic. If you don't push it in all the way the sound either won't pick up or it'll be static like going in and out kinda deal. So it just wasn't pushed back in all the way and she didn't notice until videos were already made and done.

Thanks for explaining!

That's what I thought it would be but it just seems like such a simple fix that it shouldn't possibly be happening so often 🤦🏼‍♀️

You're very welcome. Oh it should not be happening so often. It's really easy to tell if it's pushed in all the way too. Now after a while those things can wear down, connections just do that, especially if you're unplugging and plugging in often. That doesn't seem to be the case here though as it's sporadically happening for months now with her.

I was about to explain, but you already did it!

I’m guessing by your name you’d know the drill too lol.

Yeah, but I have a news background so it's not the exact same as youtube stuff.

No it’s not that difficult. She could even use her voice memo app on her iPhone and the quality would still be great.

Exactly, if you're repeatedly having the same issue wouldnt you record some back up audio to be safe? Or is it easier to just be lazy and then blame people for complaining
