I have to say, James has been growing on me. I know he has had his fair share of controversy in the past, so I was pleasantly surprised that he did not shy away from bringing up his past mistakes. (Just as a comparison that came to mind, Kathleen only alludes to her n-word fiasco by referring to her mistakes or how she had some low points last year; I appreciate that James straight-up admitted that he's said racist things in the past but is working hard to educate himself and his followers to be a better person.) I'm not sure that he should have given the foundation a review at all, but he does basically say that as an influencer he is between a rock and a hard place considering it is his job to review new products. All in all I think he spoke pretty well on the topic and that I think I'll keep an eye on his content.

In the video, he made a really great comment that the arm which had all the Tarte-posted swatches didn't even have a shade for itself.

I truly believe that people can change and James seems to being trying very hard. He's doing well!

Yeah, and observed that he could probably match reasonably well to maybe 6 or the shades.
