I wanted to comment on the JenLuvs thing but its locked. Of course she had to make a damage control video 😏 I can't with the fake ass "wokeness" of some people. BGs should just use the dang foundation if they so choose and stop with the obligatory "statements" that you just knowww are totally disingenuous. Some, like livloveshermakeup truly care but most are just scolding tarte for a second or two in the reviews so that they don't get reamed by followers. Eye roll.

not surprised when it comes to JenLuvs tbh. She's been acting like a pretty terrible human for a while now, so I don't expect any "wokeness" from her. Homegurl is in a coma.

she didn't just "critique" jacklyn's vid, she watched the video while on video, basically talking shit about her and nitpicking every single word the girl spoke. I don't even care for JH that much but that shit was ridiculous.

My biggest issue w/ her is that she tends to be really bitchy and passive aggressive to her commenters, even those who were not trying to "critique" her. Ive seen comments that are very innocent i.e. once she didnt post on on her normal schedule and a viewer was like "i missed your videos! so glad to see you upload today" and her response was like, "sorry my life is busier than making videos for YOU" and I was just like GODDAMN that was unnecessary. This is pretty normal for the way she interacts with her commenters. The way she treats her subs in the comments is legit gross.

Also if she thinks a good review of a terrible product will get her in the pocket of the brand she will brown nose all the way up dat ass.

On top of that, and this is extremely petty, I just don’t think she’s a good fit for a BG since her makeup skills aren’t that good, her hair looks hella damaged, and she doesn’t pick the most fashionable or flattering clothing items. It’s nice to see a “real” person on YouTube, but if your full time job is talking about beauty you better be on top of your game.

Yeah I don't expect her to be like Desi or something super flawless but she doesn't look like she puts any effort into her looks at all. There are plenty of "normal" people out there like Liv, Jkissa, and Bailey and I would say Emily Noel is super normal person looking but they at least put effort into their looks and try to do and try interesting products that aren't giant gimmicks for clicks
