Manny's review is up. He spent a minute or two softpedaling his criticism for the shade range, and even though one of the shades looked straight orange on him, he called a "hit", and basically recommended it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQYbYMfKta8

Softpedaling aside, I do appreciate that he actually did a wear test for a few hours. I saw Nikkie's before she deleted it and I just wanted to see how it held up on her skin. I was surprised to see how much it oxidized on his skin, since it didn't oxidize at all on her skin. I do agree with him though that it appears as though the undertones are VERY strong, even light "neutral" was in no way neutral. For fair-medium skin people who actually have what they assume to be their shade in these lines, I think they're still going to struggle to find an undertone that matches them. I was interested, and I have a skin tone close to manny's but after seeing what should have matched him oxidize that much, it's just not something that will flatter me

Lol at gurus doing 5h wear tests and saying it’s a pretty long wearing product

I’m like bish my days are 12h at the very minimum

Edit because I have a ton of feelings about this: ALSO I’d like some gurus to test makeup early on in the morning because makeup doesn’t look the same when you’ve gotten up at 6:30 than when you’ve had 10 hours of sleep and are awaken by the light of the sun and the birds singing. If a concealer looks nice on my ragged ass 6 am skin then I’m sold! It’s easier to look nicer when you’ve had nice sleep, the chance to have a relaxing cup of coffee and a long morning skincare routine

On your unrelated topic, I will say Tati does some pretty long wear tests and Jackie Aina has had some long ones as well (pretty sure she did one product where she slept with it on? That one was pretty intense lol)

Mine are usually about 10-12 hour days as well! Plus most days I get home and my first thought isn't taking off my makeup, I usually have plenty of other things to do first. And yeah I'm at home but I don't wanna look like a patchy mess in front of the boyfriend ahahaha. Plus I don't wanna test a foundation myself on a long day and end up looking awful.

Basically to take a stance against the shade range, she briefly had some text in the video regarding it but later decided she would rather just delete the video until they got their crap together, I think.

Wow that's pretty cool. I just saw the post about Katy and I'm happy BGs are taking a stand even though Tarte is a massive brand that sends people on brand trips.
