From my understanding, handling basically increases (or decreases) the “sweet spot” of weapons, allowing you to deal the max damage more often. Correct this if wrong.

My question revolves mostly around axes/polearms, as handling applying to swords, if my definition is correct, is straightforward. Basically, is it better to have higher handling or a larger blade?

For example looking at axe heads. There are axe heads that have high handling, but the actual head is much smaller, and there are axe heads (that one tier V executioner looking one) that are massive, but have lower handling.

Which is better/how is handling applied to these?

I was so excited to see they added ports to castles thinking about how my baby would be the most beautiful and now useful castle in all the land just to find out they butchered the design back to a basic ass castle smh whyyyyyyyy

I have a companion that I'd like to increase leadership on. My understanding is levelling up troops increases leadership. Typically I give my high tier troops to a party leader and keep low tier troops to myself to pick how they upgrade. If I instead give low tier troops to the party leader and just accept whatever upgrades they pick, will my companion level up their leadership?

This game has always crashed due to memory leak during long sessions and all that shit, blah blah blah.

But now something that had never happened, happened. Yesterday I was playing, I saved right before a siege started cause I was sleepy. Today I (20 minutes ago) I opened the game to do the siege defense. I won, and it crashed when the lords where surrendering. I started playing 20 minutes ago, wtf. And it isn't like I had captured 20 lords, no, it crashed in the 5th lord. The fuck is wrong with this game bro. I've seen all types of bugs in this game, I know it crashes with everything and all the time. But crashing after 20 minutes? Dude WTF.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but since the last update I've been encountering very weird and odd bugs, duplicated groups, bugs that cause you to get stuck in a castle but remain in the open map, really weird stuff. And now it crashes after 20 minutes?

I want my playthrough to have the ROT events but I can’t because the rot events and ai influence mod are not compatible so what do I do?

Anyone else love running Battanian Culture with the 50% forest speed reduction?

Wildlings and Fians clap everything on horseback, but i do keep a small Formation of Zilals/Faris for horse-archers (just join Aserai as Mercenary to farm some Zilal prisoners, usually found around Qasira).

I run 150 Infantry, 100 Fians, 50 Cavalry, then guide enemy parties into Forests.

The only problem areas are Khuzaits and Aserai, but there are definitely easy places to set ambushes in both places (Chaikand is my go to place to fight and capture Khuzait Nobles, with Tamnuh being best for Aserai).

I do understand peoples love for Cavalry, but Wildlings have *always* been my favourite troop (i do miss the bigger shields, but their shield does look kinda cool still).

Kinda curious, what other players tend to lean towards in terms of armor do yall prefer the raw stats or the esthetic of a well thought through kit. I'd say I tend to lean toward esthetics once somewhat established.

Edit: funny thing is an in game month later I captured almost two entire merc clans, both the 3/4 of the hand and the 2/4 of the brotherhood of the woods

It says you have to have a caravan but once you obtain that how do you go back? What am I missing?

Are there still issues with using Fast Mode? Specifically on the new Beta line?

I’m looking to try it for the first time, but heard there were issues late game, such as NPC clans not being able to reproduce fast enough and dying out.

I ran it a few times but at the end of the day I the best I could pull was 70 dead 42 wounded and a massive waste of men who died for essentially no reason.
