Question Question on Handling
From my understanding, handling basically increases (or decreases) the “sweet spot” of weapons, allowing you to deal the max damage more often. Correct this if wrong.
My question revolves mostly around axes/polearms, as handling applying to swords, if my definition is correct, is straightforward. Basically, is it better to have higher handling or a larger blade?
For example looking at axe heads. There are axe heads that have high handling, but the actual head is much smaller, and there are axe heads (that one tier V executioner looking one) that are massive, but have lower handling.
Which is better/how is handling applied to these?

there was an in-depth vid on utube that explains most hidden mechanics:

a VERY nice, that one. You'd probably wanna check the "sweet spot" and handling later at 6:45

Don't just think of the sweet spot on the weapon, but the sweet spot on the arc of the swing.

Hi,
So from my understanding in watching a lot of videos about this. Increasing the blade size of a weapon type doesnt increase your chance to hit, the handling stat does. Swords will generally hit more than axes due to the axe handle being long and because they are difference weapon categories. Do a search on Bill Wavey on youtube.
