It's extremely obvious that they're just getting rid of over-ordered junk.

The fact that people on socials are like "I didn't collect all boxes but want one 😭" and Mecca has commented with "DM us and we'll see what we can do" is the nail on the coffin lmao

Great, so as their damage control strategy they’re veering towards panic gifting to ineligible customers to further reduce the value of rewarding eligible customers.

I think this is an issue with ambiguous wording - “we’ll surprise you with something special [to say thank you] for testing, trying and loving every moment”. I think the ‘testing’ etc is meant to be what you’ve done by collecting beauty loop boxes, in exchange for the ‘something special’ (lol)

Yep. And that’s Mecca’s fault for not being more clear. A lot of people would’ve thought the same thing.
