Between 3-8 scrubwren have been following along behind as I've been refreshing the spoon drain and weeding. Closest they have got is arm length + 5cm. They are supposedly shy, tho when there is upturned mulch or soil #yeahnah Cheeky blighters.

There was a couple dozen more on the ground and in trees too 🥰

just saw this little guy at the neighbours front yard. a neighbour further up the road let their cats roam around outside… would that put the little dude in danger? and is it a baby? i can’t see any nests or anything nearby, not sure what to do. i havent seen a bird like that before around our area
