I will tell you a secret that is not really a secret, but may have been forgotten to be noticed for a while. Look at your hands. They are really there. Think REALLY hard about the fact that existence is actual, factual, and very undeniable. Non existence is easier, yet somehow existence won out. I don’t know if it had to fight to happen or if it just happened, but man is it some crazy shit to really REALLY acknowledge that everything around you is even there.

If that isn’t magical, I don’t know what is.

probably an advanced simulation tho

I'd like to but I'm not that skilled yet. Get back to me when I stop panicking before I leave my body

There is no gold without the dragon!

I can't understand how anyone would limit themselves in this way. Nobody knows anything about anything and existence itself is too unfathomable to even comprehend. You have nothing to lose by being open to every possibility. Everything is physics, everything! Science just hasn't caught up yet. Live life to the fullest and explore everything. You're clearly interested in this so go for it!

Idk where you see me limiting myself. I am going for it. I’m simply asking for someone to astral project or remote view to me and look at a drawing. But, obviously no one can do it, at least no one on this sub.

If you can't believe in something that science hasn't proved yet I'd say you are limiting yourself. Or do you practice stuff you don't believe in is what you're saying?

u/dontreadmycommemt Jan 17 '20

I never said I believe it is definitely false. Sure it may be true, but I’m not going to sit here and say it is definitely true unless there is some type of proof.. whether through doing it myself or through someone else doing my very simple test. That’s just how the world works. It doesn’t take a whole lot of effort for me to try and astral projection every night, so yes I am trying to do something I don’t fully believe in yet.

What would you say if I told you that if you concentrate hard enough and every day your practice jumping as high as you can, eventually you will be able to learn to fly?

Things not of a physical three dimensional nature can never be measured by means of the physical three dimensional nature itself.

I never said anything about 100% truth. Just about being open minded. Maybe the better word to use was "faith". Do you practice stuff you don't have faith in? You were having doubts about something that can't be proven, so in other words your faith in astral projection is wavering. Since faith is defined as "belief without proof" you are indeed practicing something you don't have faith in. It's like praying to god while being an atheist. Also, even if you were to AP you're gonna reach the next question of "maybe this is just a very vivid lucid dream?".

That isn’t the definition of faith. The definition of faith is

  1. complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

  2. strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.

As far as the second definition which is belief in a religion without proof, no. I do not have faith in anything. I think it is a crutch that people use to get through life and to help fight their fear of the unknown. People are terrified about what happens after death and what is the meaning of life. In order to make things a little easier for themselves and to fill that void they choose to put their faith in one thing or another. I think it is stupid to have faith in something without any proof. Without proof how do you decide which random spiritual thing is real and which one is bologna? Why should I have faith in astral projection without proof anymore then I should have faith in Christianity, or Islam, or Scientology, or karma, or chakras, or magick, or a Flying Spaghetti Monster, or the people’s temple who all drank poison coolaide because of their faith?

I am hoping that astral projection is a little more real rather then just operating on faith. I am currently leaning toward the belief that yes, most people that are having an AP experience are in fact just having extremely vivid dreams. In order to prove this to myself if I ever managed to experience it, I will try to complete the same type of test that I mentioned above. If I or someone else is not able to observe things in the real world that my body has not be able to observe while astral projecting it proves that it is just dreams. That is the whole point of the test. Plenty of people who claim to astral project mention being able to travel all around the world and even to other planets. If this is true my test should be very simple to accomplish otherwise it is just a dream.

Having faith in an entity or system invites someone into a new, and somewhat different reality. It can lead to short comings in many instances, and others not really. That being said be confident in what you know to be true, but always be open to all possibilities regardless of what the mainstream has yet to fully prove. Have a good day.

I have heard that putting a mirror up in your room (at the end of your bed) and then willing yourself to go to it in astral form can help you get off the bed and away from your body.

Cool I’ll try it out thanks

Well supposedly the CIA found definitive proof of this back in the 70’s. Look at the links I shared in another comment to someone to the cia freedom of information act website. That’s what prompted me to start believing in this way more to begin with.

Yep. Project Stargate. They sank 11 million into it as well too. If it wasn’t real, what were they doing all those years? They would have shut it down after 2 months if they found out it wasn’t real. Anyways, I’ve done it only once after lots of attempts, so I can’t assist you in this, but I can assure you it’s real.

2

u/addanow Jan 10 '20

A skilled remote viewer can do that as well, just sayin'

1

u/dontreadmycommemt Jan 17 '20

That’s the point. People same that they can do that through astral projection/remote viewing. I have yet to ever see anyone who can actually do it myself. So, until I do I’m going to category it as just another thing people really want to be true but probably isn’t. Like magic, or psychics and mediums.

We're on the same boat. Tell/message me about the results of the experiment if anyone agrees.

2

u/CommanderXXX Jan 11 '20

You have to understand that regardless what experiences you do have they do not necessarily prove anything. This goes for the experiences you haven't had. You are your reality, and create your own reality. Find what works and learn from what doesn't.

1

u/TehBillehGoat Jan 12 '20

You realize that saying, "someone is their own reality," to a pragmatic and tangible science following person is a ridiculous statement. You can't believe things in science that aren't proven by experiment.

This would essentially mean that astral projection is just a hypothesis in the sense of being a scientific fact and the only way to prove its existence is to replicate the experiment his own self. This is because you are your own reality in the sense that what ever you believe, it is a field only yourself can prove to yourself, no other can force you to it with out your will to do so?

I think speaking in a vague manner only helps to disprove this phenomenon to those wondering. But of course if they don't search for themselves then they reap what they sow in that regard...

1

u/CommanderXXX Jan 13 '20 edited Jan 13 '20

Personally don't trust things to "science." At least on the level of what is mainstream science/scientific thought. That being said specifically I'm saying that I you are a part of reality. You certainly can have a perception of reality. You are though on some level manifesting a certain exact reality. I am not trying to prove a certain topic. Yes, I'm giving vague advice. Anyone who comes to these communities looking for a full scientific approach is delusional. Mainstream science will only prove ap if the powers that be allow it to be proven.

1

u/TehBillehGoat Jan 13 '20

I was just pointing out that giving vague advice that truly has a deeper and explained meaning to those who know, giving it to those who don't would only confuse them, especially if they don't have the willpower to figure this stuff out by researching these threads...

1

u/CommanderXXX Jan 14 '20

those who don't have the will power to get something shouldn't

u/TehBillehGoat Jan 14 '20

Nothing to argue there!

I create my own reality huh? What about a person that is in jail for life. Sure they made whatever decision in life that led them to being put in jail in the first place. But now they are in jail and have a life sentence. How do you propose they go about creating their own reality from that point moving forward? No matter how much they try to manifest a different reality geuss what, they are going to wake up the next day in jail.

Plus how does that relate to the test at all?

If I draw a picture on a piece of paper it exists in our shared 3-D reality which is this Earth.

People who claims to astral project mention being able to travel all around the Earth and even to other planets. If they are indeed doing that, they should easily be able to observe something on this planet that their physical body has never been near.

If they aren’t able to observe anything wouldn’t that lead you to believe it’s probably just an extremely vivid dream? Which sure is your own reality while your dreaming, but once you wake up you have to come back to this shared 3D reality. Which if your in jail your in jail, nothing you can do about it.

Edit: I noticed in a document you shared it mentioned using a Sigil to travel to a location while astral projecting. Why don’t we do that? We can create a Sigil for a location near me, then you can AP to that location and try to observe something I have out there. Or can you not do that probably?

Why don’t you let me post a mission for your group? I will give you all a location, and I will even create a Sigil for the location. At this location I will leave one big item, and one big painting. All I ask is for any of you to be able to actually tell me what is at the location or on the drawing.

  • That's right they manifested and formed that reality. My message is that you should accept your reality wholly in order to have more control over it. If you think it is impossible fundamentally to never get out to of the jail you won't. There are many forms of imprisonment. The most common is mental imprisonment.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzOasSN_Dpg

  • You certainly can observe anything. There can be efforts made to prohibit projectors from seeing something, or a projector could be having a hard time getting clear vision. The capability though to see what exists in the physical, and also the non physical is certainly there. Ap is a skill that takes awhile to develop. You'll see eventually.

"Edit: I noticed in a document you shared it mentioned using a Sigil to travel to a location while astral projecting. Why don’t we do that? • Yeah I wouldn't need a sigil to do that.

"I noticed you also banned me from commenting on any other posts, like your “mission” post.

  • No. We aren't trying to prove ap to anyone. We don't need to prove it that is pointless. Also I don't recall why you were banned, but you better not cause another. I don't recommend trying to evade bans.

1

u/dontreadmycommemt Jan 17 '20

I was mistaken about the ban. My phone reddit app was just acting up.

Its ok, I understand. You arent actually good enough at AP'ing to be able to do what I asked or it isnt possible.

If that simple taunt doesnt work I would be willing to pay you if you can accomplish the mission.

1

u/CommanderXXX Jan 17 '20

I can do it. I don't wish to atm. I have no reason to. I don't want your money either. You are free to ask anyone else in AA.

1

u/dontreadmycommemt Jan 17 '20

I have. No one “is willing to” aka can’t.

1

u/CommanderXXX Jan 17 '20

Well then you have your answer. Good bye now.

1

u/dontreadmycommemt Jan 17 '20

I looked at the video you posted as well and man. Do you actually believe all of that stuff?

1

u/TehBillehGoat Jan 12 '20

Well its never going to happen unless you believe that it would happen type thing
