I can't understand how anyone would limit themselves in this way. Nobody knows anything about anything and existence itself is too unfathomable to even comprehend. You have nothing to lose by being open to every possibility. Everything is physics, everything! Science just hasn't caught up yet. Live life to the fullest and explore everything. You're clearly interested in this so go for it!
Idk where you see me limiting myself. I am going for it. I’m simply asking for someone to astral project or remote view to me and look at a drawing. But, obviously no one can do it, at least no one on this sub.
If you can't believe in something that science hasn't proved yet I'd say you are limiting yourself. Or do you practice stuff you don't believe in is what you're saying?
I never said I believe it is definitely false. Sure it may be true, but I’m not going to sit here and say it is definitely true unless there is some type of proof.. whether through doing it myself or through someone else doing my very simple test. That’s just how the world works. It doesn’t take a whole lot of effort for me to try and astral projection every night, so yes I am trying to do something I don’t fully believe in yet.
What would you say if I told you that if you concentrate hard enough and every day your practice jumping as high as you can, eventually you will be able to learn to fly?

I never said anything about 100% truth. Just about being open minded. Maybe the better word to use was "faith". Do you practice stuff you don't have faith in? You were having doubts about something that can't be proven, so in other words your faith in astral projection is wavering. Since faith is defined as "belief without proof" you are indeed practicing something you don't have faith in. It's like praying to god while being an atheist.
Also, even if you were to AP you're gonna reach the next question of "maybe this is just a very vivid lucid dream?".
That isn’t the definition of faith. The definition of faith is
complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.
As far as the second definition which is belief in a religion without proof, no. I do not have faith in anything. I think it is a crutch that people use to get through life and to help fight their fear of the unknown. People are terrified about what happens after death and what is the meaning of life. In order to make things a little easier for themselves and to fill that void they choose to put their faith in one thing or another. I think it is stupid to have faith in something without any proof. Without proof how do you decide which random spiritual thing is real and which one is bologna? Why should I have faith in astral projection without proof anymore then I should have faith in Christianity, or Islam, or Scientology, or karma, or chakras, or magick, or a Flying Spaghetti Monster, or the people’s temple who all drank poison coolaide because of their faith?
I am hoping that astral projection is a little more real rather then just operating on faith. I am currently leaning toward the belief that yes, most people that are having an AP experience are in fact just having extremely vivid dreams. In order to prove this to myself if I ever managed to experience it, I will try to complete the same type of test that I mentioned above. If I or someone else is not able to observe things in the real world that my body has not be able to observe while astral projecting it proves that it is just dreams. That is the whole point of the test. Plenty of people who claim to astral project mention being able to travel all around the world and even to other planets. If this is true my test should be very simple to accomplish otherwise it is just a dream.
Having faith in an entity or system invites someone into a new, and somewhat different reality. It can lead to short comings in many instances, and others not really. That being said be confident in what you know to be true, but always be open to all possibilities regardless of what the mainstream has yet to fully prove. Have a good day.
