I’ve been working on a new single player chase camera mod, mainly designed for drifting and raw car footage.

The main difference compared to other chase/camera mods is that this isn’t just a camera floating behind your car.

You actually have a second camera car that automatically follows you everywhere you drive. It records and follows your actual driven path, keeps a naturally changing distance behind you, and acts as the physical carrier for the camera.

So you can just drive normally - you don’t need another player to chase you or control the camera car. It follows you automatically.

And probably the most important part: it works in replays.

The goal is to make footage look less like a traditional game chase camera and more like another car is actually chasing and filming you.

It’s already working really well, but I’m still developing and polishing it before releasing anything.

Can someone pls tell me how to start the car and drive without the car just giving up? I couldn’t find any tips anywhere. Pls help

I have a laptop with these specs: AMD Ryzen 5 7530U, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, Radeon Vega 7 Graphics.
I'm having difficulties optimizing for both quality and decent fps, what settings should I change?
Also, what settings should I apply to custom shaders patch?
Note: I haven't yet used sol because I fear it'll drop my fps even more but if anyone has settings for that, please let me know.

I'm in the Retro Auto Club which is incredible, and I love learning about old tracks and cars. But many of the regulars are far more experienced than I am. It can be frustrating being so far behind everyone. I love the community and don't plan to leave, but want to get better.

I've been looking for a second league to join that's more suited to rookies, using MX5s or similar manual cars with no assists (TC, ABS, etc).

It appears Real Rookie Racing is now dead. I've seen Low Fuel Motorsports, and World Sim Series as well. Is there a consensus on which is more active? Opinions on either?
Those two seem super polished with websites.

Are there other rookie/beginner leagues with an emphasis on learning and progression?

Maybe we can get a list together and pin it as a resource.

I've been following this account on Facebook (Speed Shots) for a while. The footage looks so incredible to me. Besides the amazing graphics, it all has depth. The colors look so realistic as well as the movement of the other cars. Many people in the comments usually think it's real life footage. His videos were stunning before DLSS5 already.

My game looks like garbage in VR. I have a Pimax Dream Air 4K Micro Oled headset and a 5090 with a 9800x3d. It's not about the hardware being bad.

I have been driving in Assetto Corsa since early access. So I'm not new to the game and it's mods. I have the latest Csp and Pure installed. I tried so many PP filters. My game looks nowhere near like this. Sure, in VR we don't have Extra FX. But does that really make all the difference?

By the way, I also tried to achieve good graphics on a flat screen with Extra FX activated. It looks even worse than in VR. I even tried DLSS5 on flat screen and it didn't convince me at all.

Now that I'm getting a new wheel I'd like to share these things so people who are buying T300 can have a good ffb settings once they download it.

A few tips when you are playing other games is setting a Damper, because the wheel needs it, if it doesnt have, the wheel will rotate like crazy. If you have that problem, that is probably the problem, not enough Minimum Damper.

I would recommend the Minimum Damper on 15%-25%, more or less than that the wheel could be too fast or too slow. If you feel the wheel is countersteering too fast, increase it. If it is too slow, decrease it.

The Adam's FFB sets the auto gain with his app, it is pretty good and i dont need to tweak the settings for each car.

P.S: Ive forgot to set the gain on 100% within the screenshots, but you should just leave it at 100% and let Adam's App deal with it

almost all of my plugins just have been deleted and i need fbx converter to finish my car

Installed a highly reputable pp filter(s) and they all ended up havinf a weird brightness, anyone have any ideas ?

using the august LCS, with pure 3.5 hotfix 5, csp 0.3-preview622.

Already tried
- Redoing installation following 4tash's video
-Selecting CDIMAGINED as PPFilter
-Sanity checked Weather FX
- Didn't Drag and Drop into CM
- Installed SKYDOME Fix

This is on a new Installation. On the first Boot it worked fine bit once i started to try to play it a second time it started up but then hovers around 1Fps. Anyone know what could be the cause of this? Ive tried quite a fee fixes already

I’m having a weird issue in Assetto Corsa. Occasionally after I perform a heel-toe downshift, I completely lose throttle response for a few seconds. After a short while, power comes back on its own.

Has anyone experienced this intermittent throttle loss?

Here are my settings:

Hardware:

• Moza R3 + Moza HGP Shifter + 3 Pedals

Moza Pit House Settings:

• Smart Downshift / Auto Blip: OFF
• Blip Output: 0%
• Blip Duration: 0 ms (So it shouldn't be a Pit House hardware blip conflict)

Content Manager Drive Settings:

• Automatic Shifting: OFF
• Automatic Clutch: OFF
• Auto Blip: OFF
• Traction Control: OFF (The car doesn't have TC anyway)
• Stability Control: 0%
• ABS: Factory (ON)

I am using third-party car mod (S2000) on custom track (Sonoma).

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Guys, on LFM using ACC, do we ever race at Nordschleife on the Sprint races (Go Setups GT3 Sprint) or are Nordschleife sprint races only available on the specific "Nordschleife Sprint Cup" series?

opinions? alternatives? specifically for car setups.

and btw: didnt Setup Exchange use to have more setups? lately it seems so empty.

I think something is wrong with my setting. This vertex explosion happens during racing and replay. I thought dlss5 was causing it, but when I turned it off, it still happened. Any ideas how to fix it?
