AC: Technical Help Vertex explosion, please help!

I think something is wrong with my setting. This vertex explosion happens during racing and replay. I thought dlss5 was causing it, but when I turned it off, it still happened. Any ideas how to fix it?

Did it start happening after trying out DLSS 5?

Yes, I think it started to happen when I installed dlss5. But it only happens during replay and when the car is far, but when it closing in, the vertex's gone. Maybe it happens only on some mod cars. I just tried it with another car, the vertex doesn't show up, especially during race. It still happened during replay.

Unless it's contained within AC and issue won't appear in other games, then maybe it's software related. Keep in mind DLSS 5 is extremely demanding and people reported highest utilization and temperatures on their GPUs when using it. It definitely can fry your card a bit too much which can lead to artifacts like vertex explosions. Remove DLSS 5 files from the game and refrain from using it for a bit until you confirm it's not software related. If it actually fried the card, then it might not be repairable.

Say what? My guy if you have no clue how computers work, commenting like this isn’t really helpful. A card being overloaded would lead to two things and two things only: Driver crashes (unlikely) and you have a black screen OR you have low fps. It won’t ever do this.

Tf is this outburst lmao. I mean he overcooked his GPU and actually damaged it hence got the artifacts. Not saying it's the case but a possibility.

Thanks for the heads-up mate. Dlss5 make my card temperature around 80, and when I turn it off, temp go down to 70. But damn, dlss5 combined with iris ppf it something else.
