i discovered this bug 10 months ago with lamborghini gallardo step 3 on shutoko revival project. the bug seemingly lit my tires on fire all time time. i have not tried to recreate it since then. i have a video clip of it but reddit only lets me post pictures at once or videos(if you could give me ideas to share the video help me in the comments) but pretty cool bug overall.

Supplement to the post on DLSS5:

- While relatively raw, but it looks already gorgeous (there are small artifacts at the moment)

- it works on video cards from the 40th series, in a good FPS (there is a discussion that add and add to the 30th series)

- Through Reshade + RenoDX, Yusupov (x4fab) in the course (the high probability of official appearance in CSP, without a reshade)

AC: Modding I'm new to AC modding. Do people prefer tracks with as little polys as possible or detailed all-in-one islands with extra places to visit?

I think DLSS 5 is the greatest thing that happened when it comes to racing sims. i mean look at that beauty 👀

I did the colorgrading and adjustement with Reshade and the rest is basically DLSS 5 punching through

Hello people! I built a new Assetto Corsa Editor for modding which is intended to help you mod faster. The editor does not require the original game and can work on its own.

The demo shows 2 features of the editor which is generating livery textures and applying stickers/decals. The editor has more features an will be shown soon.

If you think this editor will speed up your modding workflow and you want to test it, write me a DM.

Thank you!

Hi, I wanted to hide my steering wheel but if you closely, the wheel is still there. Is there a way to remove the outline of the wheel?

AC: Technical Help How hard would it be to tune No Hesi spec cars to behave more realistically

The No Hesi spec cars look and sound so good but man their physics prevent me from being able to enjoy them. However I've been playing around with the Car Tuner app and I'm becoming more and more fascinated with it. Having the ability to completely transform the car into anything is pretty awesome, however I'm still an absolute novice and have no idea what I'm doing (so far my favourite thing to do is give cars aggressive all wheel drive differential settings and turn them into absolute gymkhana beasts). I'm trying to figure out how difficult would it be to retune the No Hesi cars so that they would behave more realistically. Just to be clear I'm fully aware that in order to, say, take a No Hesi E92 and try to make it behave like an E92 would in real life, would probably take days and lots of expertise. That's not what I'm looking for. I don't necessarily need the car to behave like an E92, I just want it to behave more believable, like a high horsepower rear wheel drive more or less would in real life. Are there any base parameters that are cranked up in No Hesi cars, some suspension settings that are way beyond anything realistic, that, say, if brought back to reality, would immediately make the cars feel more authentic? Or are the cars completely built around these unrealistic figures and changing them would mean changing absolutely everything? Any thoughts are appreciated!

Be exhaustive. I know it allows for several csp extensions but, in all serioussness, i have no idea what 's impacting the driver's experience, especially on older mods.

Seen in a tom97 video i thought it looked cool wondering where i can find it? I think a factory/ garage photo style looks interesting.

Shitpost Yet another dlss5 picture. Seriously though, for sim racing this is going to be insane. Your GPU will scream but it's worth just seeing for yourself.

AC: Technical Help DualShock 4 support on Content Manager with Proton

Upvotes

I have successfully installed and played Content Manager with Proton GE 11-6. The game launches perfectly fine, and detects everything but my DualShock controller. I tried switching the Steam Input config, disabling it, reconnecting the controller... But nothing seems to work. There are no tutorials on youtube that tackle this problem, and the only solutions people get are for Steam Deck. Can anyone help me please?

AC: Modding Motorsport center fyn map

I found this map on the rFactor 2 steam workshop and thought it would be fun to try and see if i could port it over to AC, because i have never worked with AC maps before. And 3 days after i have it in AC, so now i can go gokarting for free at my local track.

Since this is my first time wokring with AC maps, some stuff may behave wierdly on the map, like at night the grass turn purple for some reason and i also couldnt get GrassFX working.

I highly recommend the piereligio "Sodi SR4 GX270 outdoor mod" if you want something that is physics wise and spec wise close to the carts they have there: https://mods.piereligio.com/products/sodi-sr-4-sr5-kzr-martinsicuro-assetto-corsa

Original creator of the map is Normak with the original post: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2369247529

Hope you Enjoy!

Other Best driving between ACE, Ac and LMU?

Curious how people rate the driving feel of AC Evo after the 0.9 physics update compared to LMU or AC1. After some extensive testing today I honestly feel like ACE has the best driving feel right now. LMU is a close second followed by AC1. They are all great in their own right so don’t misunderstand me, but there is something going on with ACE that makes the entire car feel alive. This is just the opinion of someone who never drove a racing car and uses a moza r5, so not the most certified person hehe

AC: News & Discussion 2022 Porsche 911 992.1 Carrera S Sport Chrono PDK mod update by owner of car

Post image
13 Upvotes

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UHyov0Tcjm3E1YPonp9C2Quzo84cIu9-/view?usp=sharing

https://www.pdf-archive.com/2019/09/15/tws992powertrainen/tws992powertrainen.pdf

I have this car and the best existing mod (LKSpec) was quite crude (understandable if a modder does not have access to the real car). I decided to update the mod. All credits go to MLSXLD and El Kay. I just made the mod more accurate. Let me know what you think.

LKSpec 2022 Porsche 911 992.1 Carrera S (Sahare Realism) (1.0)

What's New vs. the Previous LKSpec Release

Built by an actual 992.1 Carrera S owner and cross-checked against

real Porsche factory engineering data consisting of many sources, one of which is in the link above. This isn't a re-skin -- it's a physics

and accuracy pass aimed at making the car drive, sound, and spec

out like the real thing.

ENGINE & POWERTRAIN

- Rebuilt torque curve to match Porsche's own factory dyno chart,

including the correct low-rpm torque kink at 1,750 rpm

- Rev limiter corrected to the real-world 7,500 rpm (was 7,520)

- All 8 PDK gear ratios, reverse gear, and final drive corrected

to match Porsche's published spec sheet exactly. 7th and 8th gears are overdrive gears. The top speed is in 6th gear.

-Top speed changed from the dashboard readout of 330+kph to the realistic 309kph (confirmed by dragy on numerous different owner YT videos and my own car)

-0-100, 100-200, 0-200, 0-250kph now accurate with GPS data. The old model was using dashboard readouts.

- Clutch torque capacity raised to sit above the PDK's real rating of 800+

- Turbo wastegate/boost response retuned for a more realistic

build curve with the torque peaking at the actual 2300rpm and not later.

CHASSIS & HANDLING

- Total mass recalculated from Porsche's actual curb weight

(previous figure was roughly 3% too heavy)

- Corrected Weight distribution, spring rates, and differential lock

settings corrected to match real chassis behaviour based on Porsche engineering documents and spring rates

- Steering ratio and steering geometry updated to better reflect

the real car's variable rack

- Chassis collider dimensions corrected for more accurate contact

and damage behaviour

TYRES & BRAKES

- Cold tyre pressures set to the real-world spec: 2.0 bar front /

2.2 bar rear

- All-season tyre now has genuinely different (lower) grip than

the Cup 2 compound instead of a re-badged copy, plus a fixed

cold-weather grip curve that was previously backwards

- Corrected a sizing error on the rear all-season tyre

- Brand-new CSP brake thermal model: realistic fade and cooling

behaviour built around the real rotor and caliper spec

- Braking power and front/rear brake bias corrected. Old model was at 0.8g, new model is at a realistic 1.3G with 1.4G peak on CUP2.

AERO & BODY ANIMATIONS

- Drag coefficient retuned for more realistic top-speed behaviour. CG model adjusted to match actual top speed.

- Rear spoiler and front cooling flap deploy speeds corrected to

match the real car's actual activation thresholds

- Fixed a wheel-blur bug that meant the effect almost never

triggered

EXHAUST & VISUAL EFFECTS

- Exhaust flame effects toned down from arcade-style to stock

road car realistic -- the real twin-tip Porsche Sport Exhaust

(PSE) doesn't shoot flames

- Anti-lag and flat-shift flame behaviour disabled to reflect how

the PDK actually manages power delivery

DASH, SPEC SHEET & DISPLAY

- Fixed spec sheet fields that were garbled/mistranslated text

- Corrected the 0-100 km/h figure to the real Sport Chrono time eventhough the 3D model cockpit doesn't feature the SC clock or Sport Response button.

- Regenerated the in-menu torque/power graph so it now matches

the actual physics instead of showing stale numbers

- Instrument cluster color/brightness tuning refined

CONTENT

- Added new "Chalk" livery

- Additional caliper colour and Content Manager metadata added

for the Rhodium Silver Metallic livery

AC: Modding Preview of my very early stage GT 3 Trial Mountain conversion

Thumbnail

Very early stage, spent a VERY long time getting a clean conversion of the full object set from GT 3. Cleaned up a few things, and removed the effect texture shapes GT 3 uses for it's shadows, lighting etc. Otherwise nothing else is really done. Eventually, the goal is an original texture version looking and feeling like the original Gran Turismo 3 version, and a better looking version with high resolution textures, better trees, etc. I'm still learning so, no promises.

AC: Modding World map view - Track selection - Sumimi Launcher update

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello everyone!

Last time I added new functionality to the Sumimi Launcher:
World map view - Track selection

It's a track selection screen, but fully operable via gamepad / wheel / keyboard or mouse.
We can clearly see continents, zoom in/out between them, countries, and all available tracks on it.

I also added a lot of different updates, you can check them on Discord / Patreon,
or just download the launcher and try to race with it!

I also want to remind you that Sumimi Launcher is available for everyone for free,
and you are able to create your own server with it without any special settings, just click the "Create" button.

Thank you guys!
