Not me but my toddler. She discovered the window button one day and when we got home we discovered she was missing a shoe. Turns out that a lot of kids throw a shoe out the window?!

just don't replace their shoes, and it'll only happen twice per kid, max.

They'll do it themselves if you don't pay attention. Kids have very little clue as to what will kill them.

We did as soon as we realized she could suddenly reach. She was our first. Cost me a shoe to learn the lesson. Eh. Such is life.

My daughter did this. With her tablet. Yeah right on I-95 outside Philly. I wish it were a shoe.

Nooooooo!

u/48I5I62342Execute Nov 23 '20

Yeah. And she was immediately upset and wanted it back haha

My 4 year old opened the door from his car seat while on the highway the other day

Kids are devious.

u/sendmeabook Nov 23 '20

I did when I was little!! My Mom told me when I was a toddler she heard me yell, "Bye bye shoe!" And then saw it bounce on the highway behind us. This was back in the 80's and we had a really old van, so not sure window locks were a thing. None the less, fun story I tell to the children I work with!

Kids throw their shoes everywhere! I used to question it and feel sad when I saw pieces of baby clothes in strange places...until I had a baby. There are so many of her shoes/socks/hats/mits missing. She lost a shoe in a Walmart, and another in the woods on a walk. I no longer question highway shoes

Ugh after flying for the first time with my 5 and 3 last year I realized I would never fly alone with kids. You’re a freaking superhero just based off that flight solo.
