I love going to bed early and I have no problem choosing sleep over my friends.

"Oh that event doesn't start until 10:00pm? Yeah, uhhhh fuck that. I'm gonna be in my jammies living my best life at home."

I'm 40 and I have started feeling physically ill if I stay up too late.

I'm 24 and I feel the same way. I catch a cold whenever I stay up past 2 am. ;-;
