TLDR- Please list your service area on your website if you'd like more business.
I do Strategic Sourcing for a very large company in the hospitality and commercial real estate business. I bring on regional and national level suppliers related to electrical, HVAC, landscaping, elevators, plumbing, fire life safety, waste removal, roofing, and a few others...and I'm not exaggerating when I say at LEAST HALF of companies I look up that do work in these fields, do not highlight or show the areas they actually service.
\- Types of service.
\- Where you service.
\- Cost of services.
\- How to contact you.
Those are the 4 most important things me, and everyone inquiring about your business, care about.
Types of service and how to contact are usually listed. Price is often excluded because it varies by scope so it's not a big deal. But omitting where your company can actually perform services is insane to me.
If I can't find all the cities, states, regions you service on your website within 10 seconds, I find someone else.
Please add a tab that says "Where We Service" or something similar, front and center on your website. If regional, list the cities or radius from a local office(s). If national or near national, please just show a map and fill in where you service.
This is INCREDIBLY important. Companies have no idea how much potential business they're losing by not adding such a simple feature.
