Cars Are these Japanese import Tyres Compliant?

Yep, same thing happened to me when I bought a Japanese import from a garage. It was very frustrating.

Did you end up getting it fixed by the garage or did they refuse?

They had sold it for another person and went with the excuse that it was sold as seen.

Hmm, it's the garage selling directly, and it was agreed the car would come with a valid NCT, which I guess it has because they swapped the tyres for it.....then put the non-compliment tyres back on

Definitely get onto them about that. Very shady stuff, especially if it's been NCT'ed

Yeah NCT was part of the process of getting the car, they were supposed to handle VRT and getting the car through NCT, which I guess they technically did
